Beautiful Shadow has been with us for an entire year. She has blossomed into a very sweet, gentle and fun pup. She is very gentle with dogs, cats, horses and just needs a quiet family where she can be part of the pack.

Our little SHADOW arrived in our care on May 30th (212 days ago) from Yellowknife and for the most part, she’s been in the same loving foster home and thriving. Foster homes rock — Thank You! ❤️

Sadly, SHADOW struggles with change and can be very shy with new people/situations. She ADORES other friendly dogs and needs to live with at least one other dog in the home. SHADOW would prefer to be a country girl with some space and a secure yard. Kids have proven to be too much for SHADOW therefore, an adult-only home is best for her. Her new family will need to understand to take things slow with her and give her time to settle in at her own pace. SHADOW will be forever grateful and will make a great addition to your active but quiet family. She is kind, affectionate, funny, playful and smart — a very deserving dog!! 💞 SHADOW is now 10 months old, weighs about 39 lbs., is healthy and spayed.

IHIT File # 2021-382

On March 29, 2021 at 10 a.m., human remains were found in the area south of Silver Creek in Hope, B.C. The circumstances were deemed suspicious and IHIT took conduct of the investigation. IHIT has been working with the B.C. Coroners Service to identify the human remains.

The remains have now been identified as those of 48-year-old Trina Hunt of Port Moody, who had been missing since January 18, 2021. Foul play is suspected in her death and IHIT is working with the Port Moody Police to further the investigation.
“The missing person investigation of Trina Hunt has now transitioned into a case of homicide,” says Sergeant Frank Jang of IHIT. “As this is an active and ongoing investigation, there will be no further details provided at this time.”
