It’s National Farriers Week!

We want to extend a huge thank you to all the talented and hard-working farriers out there! This week was founded in 1998 by the American Farriers Journal with the stated purpose of honoring farriers who pay attention to detail, approach their work in a professional manner, seek to improve their skills, are thoughtful towards clients and take great pride in doing what’s in the best interest of the horse. Horse owners need both a veterinarian and a farrier and the best scenario is when both of your professionals have a good working relationship with each other. We are very fortunate to have some great farriers that we partner with in helping horses stay sound and healthy.

Remember: a good farrier is one of the best friends your horse can have!
