I've been informed that there are a few families in Eli looking for a pet groomer. If there is enough interest I will make a day trip out there next Saturday, June 29th. I am trying to keep travel and grooming affordable for clients. I am also willing to teach proper nail trimming, paw care, and coat maintenance to help with grooming costs.

This is my practice time. I have been grooming Rocky since he was 14 weeks old. He is my best boy! With his double wooly Malamute coat, he requires a lot of maintenance, which means I have plenty of opportunity to not only keep my skills sharp but also to improve those skills.

Hey everybody! First off I want to thank everyone for their business and support.
It has come time for Tana K9 grooming to close, I may start up again in a few years, but with the purchase of the bakery my other skills are needed elsewhere. With the baby coming and not having the proper equipment and facilities I am unable to continue, and Wesley and I need to focus on one business and put 100% into it, rather than 50/50 for both... and then raise a child yet. All of my clients have been so appreciated and I hate to let anyone down, but I have to do what is best for my family. Thank you for understanding.

Hi! It's Tana from Tana K9 grooming. As many of you already know, my husband and I took over Parkland Bakery May 1st. I haven't started grooming yet as we are still settling in and figuring out scheduling. I am also due with our firstborn come August so I'm being careful how much I do, because I don't have a facility with the proper tub and table so it has become more and more difficult on my body. I am planning to wait until after the baby is born and only groom for urgent or medical reasons, like severe matting and private areas, in the evenings after the bakery closes for the time being. I want to thank everyone for the warm welcome and support, as well as your patience and understanding of the grooming situation.

This is before and after of Buster's groom. Poor guy grew up in a shop neglected and alone, he was so scared for the groom he stayed crouched with his head down almost the entire time but he cooperated and by the end we could see his beautiful eyes smiling up at us. His skin was dry and flaking so an oatmeal bath helped him feel much better, and he ran off to play with his new sister. Such a transformation from the 1 year old dog that cowered or ran away from every little sound or movement to a puppy running and barking with a new friend, and licking, and wagging his tail. So happy he is in a new home that loves him.

This is before and after of Olive (mini goldendoodle) and Sonny (Bernese Mountain Dog and Standard Poodle). Such good dogs, they held perfectly still for me, and co-operated without any complaints.

Before and after of sisters Elsa and Anna. Despite the rain/snow storm warning my husband drove me out to Oakville and was my second pair of hands with these wiggly worms, and although it was snowing on our way home we didn't have any trouble.

Just a little taste of my practice grooming, my own pups have been a little neglected recently. Their nails needed a good trimming. Luna likes it the least, but she did so well today!

He said "No". We got him in the eventually.

I was amazed at how calmly he just lay down, and he knew exactly when I needed him to roll over too. We had a little misunderstanding halfway through but talked it out and finished in 45 minutes. I am so impressed with this dog, looking forward to next time.
