Ahnah had her puppies!! They were born Friday the 13th, 7 puppies, 1 girl and 6 boys! 😳 She’s such a good mama! Puppies are all healthy and mom is doing well.

5. Glacier
6. Sparkle (girl)
7. Frosty

Meet Ahnah, a 3-4 year old husky mix she’s just arrived today but it looks like she’s going to be here for a little while I’ve made an appointment to find out how far along Ahnah is, but it looks like it won’t be too long before she blesses us with some puppies We have no idea what they will be mixed with it’s a mystery But in the meantime, our main concern is to keep mama comfortable We will find out next Thursday how many babies we are expecting (hopefully she can wait that long) but in the meantime, care to hazard a guess? How many puppies total and # of boys - # of girls? The person who’s guess is closest will win an Under Dawg Bakery advent calendar must be able to pick up in the London/St Thomas/Aylmer area or pay for shipping
We will DNA test one of the pups as well Not only is it fun to know, it will also help us place the pups in the right homes!

Dewalt has been deeply concerned about my health while I’ve been battling pneumonia. His worried eyes follow my every move, his head tilts with what I assume is compassion… But let’s not kid ourselves. His ‘concern’ is mostly about why breakfast has been 15 minutes late every day this week.

If I dare cough, he sighs dramatically as if to say, ‘I can’t believe you’re doing this to us. Get it together, human.’ Truly, I’ve never felt so supported… and judged.

Due to website issues, we are unable to post our adoptable dogs on Petfinder.com Timber needs some help finding his furever home His sister, Tundra, will be leaving him this weekend and we are hoping we can help him find his home for the holidays!
Timber is a 4month old Husky mix He’s vocal and loves his belly rubs He is doing great with his housetraining He sleeps 7 hours through the night and would most likely sleep longer if Tundra would settle down and let him sleep 🤦 He is great with other dogs, needs a fenced in yard Timber’s adoption fee is $850 please share and lets help find him the perfect home! https://www.helpingpawsrescue.ca/dog/storm/

There’s so much going on behind the scenes! Just wanted to share this heartwarming story We were asked to help with some shepherd poodle mix pups We never thought we would have to say no to puppies but we reached out to a couple rescues and were able to find them spots One of the pups had a deformed leg and to learn it was from a fracture when he was little is heartbreaking But he’s in the best of care with Halfway Home K9 Rescue

This adorable 3-year-old, 8lb Shih Tzu mix is bursting with energy and personality! Geegee is looking for her forever home where she can zoom around safely in a fenced yard—her recall is still a work in progress, but with patience and practice, she’ll get there.

When the zoomies are over, Geegee transforms into the ultimate snugglebug. She adores curling up on the couch or in bed with her favorite humans. 🛋️💤

Geegee is still working on her potty training, but she’s made progress using p*e pads when they’re available. She would do best in a home where someone is around more often to help her continue learning and give her the attention she craves.

🐾 Meet Timber & Tundra: The Sweetest Husky Mix Siblings Looking for Their Forever Home! 🐾

These adorable 13-week-old brother and sister pups have been in rescue far too long, and it’s time they find their perfect family! 💕

Timber is a big teddy bear who’s easy-going and laid-back. He loves snuggles and is as sweet as they come.

Tundra is a sweet girl with a touch of spice—playful, curious, and full of personality. She keeps everyone on their toes with her fun-loving nature!

Both pups are 95% housetrained and are in a loving foster home, getting plenty of socializing and learning the ropes of being the best companions. These two would make an amazing addition to any family ready for adventure, cuddles, and lots of love.

Stella has been in the rescue for a few weeks now Her foster mom has been dealing with chronic diarrhea and Stella has been in and out of the vet for testing but when she stopped eating we took her in for X-rays and discovered a blockage She was severely dehydrated She had emergency surgery and found her blockage was caused by eating carpet, a LOT of carpet The blockage started in her stomach and continued through her intestines So relieved to have her back home and recovering Thank you Kristie for not giving up on her ❤️🙏
