RIP Milo, my sweet boy. April 5, 2011-June 10, 2024.
We had so many good years with you!

Milo was in stage 1 kidney disease, had arthritis that was being managed well with a monthly injection, had corneal hematomas (new), IBD, PLE (protein losing enteropathy), and had lost a few lbs over the last two months. It was his time, before he got even skinnier from not being able to digest food properly. He was hungry all of the time. He was also starting to lose his vision, and didn't have very good quality of life at this point. There were a few other minor health issues, too many to list here...

We did two rounds of full bloodwork-ups this year, and found out that we could not do any more for him other than palliative supportive care. His ear infection this week was the last straw.

This was our very first Boston, who started it all. Our love for this breed can be attributed to the personality and temperament of this amazing creature. We are very saddened, but will remember all of the good times & Milo's quirks and strange behaviours for the rest of our lives. He was definitely a unique canine, a true Boston!
Now you can sleep all you want Milo, and eat all the delicious stuff that we couldn't give you at the end. I love you Milo, I'm so sorry buddy 😭
