We grow various fruits and vegetables like strawberries, ontario garlic, heirloom tomatoes, peppers, carrots and beans, and many more, by holistic and organic farming principles, along with grass-fed lambs, free-range pasture-raised laying hens and ducks. nths to sexually mature, start them out this year and have them laying for you by early spring! We keep and breed honeybees for specific traits in keeping with self-sufficient, organic methods of animal husbandry. We do not use any chemicals on our bees, not even so-called organic ones to deter Varroa mites, relying instead on resistant and superior lines of German and Russian black honeybees. We specialize in Canada's own Rideau ARCOTT sheep as maternal lines with Texel as a terminal sire, producing fast growing milk and grass fed organic lambs with superior, thicker tenderloins and a leaner meat, avoiding that fatty texture of corn-fed lambs. Lambs are available live on farm or butchered fresh or frozen. Unregistered full Rideau ram lambs may be available this winter or next spring. Give us a call!
