I make handmade treats that are nutritionally enriched for training pets. I have vegetarian, vegan, and obligate carnivore options.
I started this pet treat bakery to avoid all the unnecessary ingredients in commercial treats. I needed something extremely healthy as I use positive reinforcement with my animals. I wanted to enrich their body while enriching their minds with training.

Another issue for me is they needed to be healthy for both my dogs and horses; as when I’m training both species in the field I don’t have time to rummage through my treat pouch finding the different dog & horse treats.

I also make straight meat treats for the obligate carnivores like cats and ferrets.

I use all these treats in my pet photography and training services ❤️ My clients pets deserve top notch!

Hey everyone! Is anyone else super excited for the Autumn weather approaching ever so slowly? I'm also super excited for some new treat flavours coming out soon! Read on to find out more.

I currently have mini Timeless Turmeric Trainers available. The minis can be bought in 100gram sized bags for $8 (you get tons!) It has Turmeric, Cinnamon, Black pepper, Carob, Homegrown Raspberries, Organic Banana, Olive Oil, Eggs, Calendula, Mint, Rosemary and Coconut flour. All the herbs come fresh from the garden!

NEW TREATS!!
I have Banana Boost Chips in the dehydrator right now! They are dipped in carob & h**p hearts.

Over the next few days I will be creating some dehydrated puree's that are just fruits, veggies, and herbs.

I'll have one with watermelon, strawberry, and chia seeds & another with pumpkin, carrot, apple, cinnamon, and golden paste.

Azura is loving the new treat recipe! Did you know horse & hound treats can be fed to your dogs & horses! They are also good for small pets like rabbits! As a dog and horse owner I needed treats that could be fed to both my dog & horses. I struggled to find something in stores that had ingredients that aren’t only healthy but also provide health benefits! So that’s why I started baking treats for our animals! As an owner of both dogs & horses, when I’m at the barn training them I don’t have the space to store enough treats for both animals, or the time to sort through them. I needed something universal for both, that wasn’t full of hidden terrible ingredients.

Unlike commercial brands, we don’t use hidden packaging wording to lie to you. Everything you see listed is the truth. If it’s organic, then it’s fully organic. In the warmer months I often grow what I need in my garden, that way I can assure top quality ingredients.

Hound & Horse Treatery was started to provide pet parents with training treats that deliver a health boost. Along with custom cakes and cupcakes for special occasions.

As a pet owner, I find it so difficult to find treats and food in store that have ingredients that are healthy for my animals. I do have a few favourite in store brands that I can recommend for meat loving pets - as currently the recipies are vegetarian.

With horse & hound my goal is to provide affordable, high quality, healthy, treats that are safe for hounds & horses!

As a horse & dog owner when I’m at the barn with my dog, I don’t have the pocket space for dog treats for Louie and then equine treats for Lady & Azura. I needed something that was healthy for both my dog and my horses.

Now because my horses are both on the hotter side and multiple animals have inflammation issues, these treats are going to be low in sugar - unlike a lot of conventional equine treats.

My dog Louie has become a senior this year, so a lot of these treats will have health benefits for seniors, which can also act as a preventative for younger animals.

My goal is to get a freeze dryer, as that is the best method to retain the nutrients. I will have a line of cat treats - designed to boost your obligate carnivores health.

Treats are made in small batches by hand with lots of love.
