There is construction /road paving in front of the clinic this morning on Goderich Street/ Hwy 21 . If you have an appointment with us today please allow lots of time to get to your appointment and take an alternate route. If you travel down Ridge Street to Bruce Rd 33 you can get access to the C.A.W. road. They are allowing limited access so you will have to let them know you have an appointment and you are needing to get to the clinic. If you have any questions please call us @ 519-389-2020. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause we were not notified of the road closure.

Some qualifications required:

The pet must be an existing patient of ours
The pet must have their Rabies vaccine up to date
The pet must be able to tolerate the nail trim without any pre-visit medications

Warm weather tips to keep your pets safe this summer:
-Never leave your pets in a vehicle unattended
-Always have fresh clean water available and a shady area
-Be aware of the temperature of the Asphalt on their paws
-Know the signs of heat stroke for your pet
-Limit exercise in the heat

UPDATE #2: Owner has been found and is on the way to get this sweet girl.

UPDATE 2:10pm: We have not had an owner come forward yet. We reported her as found to Animal Control, they will be coming to pick her up in the next hour and after that point she will be at the Owen Sound Animal Shelter.
Please share this so we can hopefully find the owner before she has to go to Owen Sound.

This sweet little girl was found about an hour ago in the Market Street/Crawford Street area of Port Elgin.
No microchip, no tag on collar.
