In the event of an emergency during the holiday closure; after hours care is available through SmartVet telemedicine that can be accessed by calling our regular phone line (519-389-2020) and following the prompts or; for in person emergency care the Bluewater Veterinary Emergency Clinic (519-964-0949) in Owen Sound will be open from 6pm Dec 24th to 6am Dec 27th.

Please be advised of our holiday hours. Also, a reminder that we are currently collecting food and supply donations for the local Food Bank and Grey Bruce Animal Shelter. Donation bins are available in our waiting room.

As we head into the last week of the Christmas Countdown we would like to remind everyone to consider planning ahead on prescription refills and stocking up on food. There will be delivery disruptions due to statutory holidays, as well as the possibility of more winter weather disruptions.

If you know that your pet's medication or food is a special order we ask that you consider calling in ASAP for the refill request, to ensure you don't run out.

We will be closing the clinic at 3pm today. We have been open with minimal staff and we want to ensure the remainder of our staff can safely get home.

As we ramp up to the Christmas holiday, we have several fundraisers on the go:

Looking for some unique Christmas cards? These gorgeous, meticulously handcrafted cards are available at the front desk and all proceeds benefit our Pumpkin Fund. They are generously donated by our wonderful client Val.
They are $6 each or 2 for $10. There are many more options than pictured here.

We also are continuing to raise funds for the Farley Foundation with our $5 grab bags; they make a great little gift for a furry friend!

And we continue to accept donations for the local food bank and local shelter, with boxes located in our waiting area for drop off.

It's Giving Tuesday! A worldwide movement to encourage people to give back however they can.
Our team is participating by collecting food, toys, hygiene items and pet products for our local foodbank and local animal shelter. We are extending the donation drive for the next few weeks and will be accepting them until December 20th.
If you have donations to contribute, they can be dropped at the clinic during our regular hours: Monday to Friday 8am-5pm, Saturday 8am-12pm

If you need to pick up food or prescriptions please note
the clinic has temporary changes to our open hours:
The clinic will be CLOSED early today at 4pm and we will be CLOSED tomorrow, Saturday Nov 9th.
We will re-open Monday Nov 11th at 8:30.

TEMPORARY CHANGE TO CLINIC HOURS

As we transition to a new computer system the clinic will close early on Friday Nov 8/24 at 4:00pm and we will be closed on Saturday Nov 9/24.
If you need any food or prescription refills please make sure to make arrangements prior to our closure on Friday at 4:00 pm.
Monday Nov 11/24 we will open a half hour later than normal at 8:30 am.

If you have an emergency during these hours, please call the clinic at 519-389-2020 and follow the prompts for the instructions to access after hours care.

Please be patient with our staff as we make this transition.
We apologize for any inconvenience.
