Meet Toffee you can follow him on his Insta at ! 🐰 I was watching him while my friend was away. Was really nice to bond with Toffee. We have a special connection that he doesn’t know about because I helped rescue three baby bunnies from the same bunny hoarding situation he was rescued from. There were over 30 bunnies rescued from someones backyard. It was an awful situation. Sooo happy to he a part of the rescue mission. Did you know that you can apply to be a part of a bunny rescuing team to help capture abandoned bunnies in Ontario? You can apply through !!! There is an incredibly increasing rate of dumped and or neglected rabbits each year. Rabbit Rescue Inc also needs more fosters to sign up to help provide a safe space, shelter and love to a bunny in need!

This is Ruffles and this is his story… Ruffles is a foster bunny of a friend of mine as part of the . A note from the rescue, “Ruffles was born in an accidental litter and it’s suspected that his mom chewed off most of his ears when he was just a baby. As gruesome as that sounds, it doesn’t bother Ruffles at all now, and his little ear nubbies are in good shape. They’re not sensitive when you touch them (as some would be if the animal went through that trauma later on in life) and they’re healthy and clean. We’re told that the rest of Ruffles’ family are lop mixes with all of his siblings being lops, so it’s likely that Ruffles would have been a lop too. At least this way it’ll be easy if he ever needs ear cleanings! Ruffles can be described as a very busy little man who has people to see and places to go. Most of the time he’s on the move, making sure to check everything out and get in his daily exercise. When he finally settles down to relax, he enjoys being petted and will sometimes lay next to his foster mom while she’s petting him. Ruffles has been neutered and vaccinated and is officially ready to find his forever home! He’s good with cats and dogs (with no prey drive), and he’d be a good candidate to bond to a lonely girl bunny!”

I can’t believe he hasn’t been adopted yet he is such a bubbly, outgoing fun little guy! If I had the space I would absolutely put in an application for him. He is great with other animals including dogs that are good with bunnies!
