ALL HEART PET RESCUE AUCTION
THE RULES
• This is a “hard close” auction. If an auction ends at 8:00, then all bids up to and including 8:00 pm are valid. At 8:01, the bids will be too late. Time checks will be given when requested.
• Bids must be made in whole dollars. Some items may have a minimum bid, otherwise it is $1.00.
• Bids must be made as a new comment, not as a reply to a previous bid.
• Bids cannot be retracted, edited or deleted. If you make a mistake, put a new bid in stating the previous was in error.
• Winners will be notified under their winning bid with a “Congratulations!” message. Please check WHEN and WHERE pickups will be available and let us know your preference when an option is given. We are all volunteers so the “Congratulations” messages may not occur precisely at the auction close.
• We ask for all items to be picked up within one calendar week of the availability date, unless you have made other arrangements with us. Failing to do so may disqualify you from bidding on future auctions. We have very little storage space and need to make room for new auctions! Shipping is available at the buyer’s expense.
• Payment is by cash (please have correct change if picking up at Howes Lighting), cheque or etransfer to [email protected]. Add “Auction Item” in the remarks section so we know what the payment is for.
• All items are donated and as such should be considered used and “as is” unless specifically described as new.

DONATIONS

The auctions and Rescued Treasures would not be possible without our wonderful donors and the amazing items that come to us. We can be sometimes overwhelmed by the number of donations that come in at once so we ask the following:

• Please do not bring furniture, or any large or heavy items, to a donation drop-off location. Take a photo and send it to us with a general description and measurements. We will contact you as to how to proceed. We cannot accept most electronics, so contact us to check before bringing any to a drop-off.
• Please limit the number of boxes or bags that you bring at one time and label them if you would like them to go specifically to the auction, Rescued Treasures or to the kennel.
• We do not have storage space so cannot accept seasonal items after the holiday, such as Christmas décor after Dec 25th. We ask you to hold onto non-seasonal clothing until we can put it out, such as winter coats, hats etc until the fall.
• Donations can be left at the 24/7 shed outside the gate at All Heart, 430 Oakwood Rd in Powassan, or at Howes Lighting on Fisher St in North Bay. Small items can also be left at Rescued Treasures in Powassan.
