A tremendous thank you goes to this extraordinary young lady, who rose to the occasion when our family needed her most, and we are forever indebted to her for her tireless efforts in watching over the farm as we navigated the complexities of Toronto Sick Kids. Kierstin, joined by my dad and Richard, formed a dream team, ensuring the farm’s continued success. We can’t thank her enough for her summer of service. We hope she has a phenomenal school experience and will miss her bright smile. Best wishes, Kierstin, the world is yours for the taking!!

Christina and her fiancé Richard have welcomed their baby girl, Reign-Lynn, into the world this week. However, the pregnancy was marked by various medical complexities for both mother and baby. Currently, Reign-Lynn is bravely fighting severe heart complications in the neonatal intensive care unit at Toronto’s SickKids Hospital. Sharon has been moving everyone around for pasture management/ until tummies are used to grass/ making sure their diets are handled.

Seriously can’t get over how amazing my barn family is. Best of the best!! It’s so hard being away but having everyone work as a team is honestly the most reassuring thing to ease my mind!!

The work on a farm is never done. Always something to repair or upgrade. Check out Richard’s and Chris’ (dad) newest project; new rails added out in the grass pastures to “pony proof” it. Moments like this remind you how beautiful and peaceful the farm is.

End of April Farm update:
We have the best stand-ins for Tina .. some would even argue they do an even better job😉..check out all the recent work my Dad has done with Richards help!
So thankful for my dad Chris, and Richard.
Would not be able to get through this pregnancy season without them. & Can’t forget our girl Kierstin!

We cant wait for greener pastures;
we love our peace here at the farm!
It’s our little slice of heaven.
Sharon/Gayle/Kierstin + John make up the perfect little barn family. And we love them dearly!
We love being a baby barn with a handful of retired pasture puffs/ol lady mares!
