We have an effective daily routine balancing play and rest. According to accredited professional pet care associations, dogs should never be playing “all day” 8-10 hours straight. Why is that? 1) Just like humans, dogs need rest to recover from physical activity. Rest periods help prevent injuries and allow for muscle repair and growth. 2) Adequate rest is crucial for a dog’s mental health, helping to prevent overstimulation and stress.
