Some abscesses make quite the hole behind the hoof wall. When they grow out and reach the sole you can be left with a hole that can get full of debris and hold onto bacteria and create infection. In this case we opened it up so there was less of chance of that happening.

Spring is definitely here. As everything becomes wildly green it's time to get them hooves trimmed. If it's got hooves we can get them trimmed up and ready for the summer months ahead. Horses, goats, sheep, alpacas you name it! DM to book your next trim. Rain or shine
