Well, I'm just so happy today. My sweet ride got a full makeover over the last few days. She has beened insulated, walls installed, and a brand new and VERY improved lighting system.
A huge thanks to my partner in crime Jeff who has gone to Home Depot and Princess Auto for parts for the last four days way more times than I'd like to admit.

If you have ever considered being a foster parent now is your time. The PG Humane Society is doing a huge rescue a little later this month and for every foster home we get lined up will mean another dog will be saved and given a second chance for a wonderful life. **ALL HANDS ON DECK!**

We are working with a VERY remote community to get as many free-roaming dogs to safety as we can before winter hits. The more foster homes we have pre-arranged, the more dogs we can take in! They are already struggling for food and the cold will be a death sentence for a lot of these pups. We are looking at 40+ dogs that are desperate need.

We will fly as many dogs in as we can over the next few weeks and will make the 10+ hour drive out the last week of September to get the rest. This is an enormous mission for us, we are working with different rescues from all over BC to make this happen, and we trust that our awesome supporters will always answer the call for help.

We will provide everything needed for these dogs if you can provide a safe space for them to land. This includes food, kennels, supplies AND training/ behaviour support. We are hoping for a 2 week commitment to let the dogs settle in and for you to get to know them.

If you're already on our 'Foster Roster' and are able to be 'on call' to take one of these dogs, please let us know!

I'm glad cats can't give reviews.... This face tells me I would be getting one star.
The bath, brush, nail trim and dematting all sucked.
The one star would be for the chin skritches and telling him he was a good boy for his entire appointment

This question recently came up and thought I would share this with all of you.

Do you know the difference between a purebred dog and a registered dog? On the outside two dogs of the same breed may look identical. However, a registered dog is papered meaning the breeder can prove that the last 5 generations before your dog were all the same breed. (That's 62 dogs!)
A non registered "purebred" cannot guarantee that many dogs were all the same breed.
It's something to keep in mind should you choose to purchase a dog rather than adopt from a shelter. There are shady people out there who charge so much money for a purebred that ends up being a mix breed. Please choose a breeder who breeds dogs for the breed,,, not for the money

HE HAS BEEN ADOPTED!!

This is Duke.. He is a fabulous St Bernard cross who gets along well with dogs, cats, and apparently even chickens!
He is approximately 1 year old and next week he will be looking for a new home. He is currently in a temporary home in Vandehoof but he is getting a car ride to PG in the next few days to the PG Humane Society. There's a new little sticker on the side of the van with a huge meaning. PG Mobile Pet Services is now officially Fear Free Certified!
What does that mean?
We are trained to prevent and alleviate fear, anxiety, and stress with your pet during their grooming appointment.
Not to worry, if your dog or cat is already a client they have always received a fear free appointment. The only difference is that we now have certification that backs up this wonderful practice for your furry family member
