I can’t believe that I am actually having to make this post, but after an unbelievable incident today at the kennel, that’s what I am doing. As everyone knows the roads are incredibly icy and today we had a first time customer get their car stuck on the road. They called into the kennel where I spoke to them.(Kathleen) and let them know that I was unable to come out and help them because I am currently recovering from a broken back, but I would send help. I let Quinn know and she took Gravel out to put it under their tires and push their car forward, all the while being berated by this first time customer. Long story short, I went out at Quinn‘s request because the customers were beyond aggressive with her. When I got outside to speak to them, the passenger in the vehicle immediately began swearing at me and shouting insults that our place was a dump, etc. at this point I told the customer that we would not be taking their dog and they needed to leave. This is where things escalated quickly. The passenger had her door open and reached out and grabbed my jacket at which point I slapped her hand away, and very aggressively told herto get out of our yard and never come back. She then continued to reach through the window of the vehicle trying to hit me and grab me as I was holding the door shut. As they drove away, spinning out all over our yard, yelling that they were going to make a police report and ruin my business. Lucky for us we have footage of the interaction that clearly shows who the aggressor was. This all to say, every single person who comes on and off of our property is being recorded, and if you’re going to come here and act a fool  we will always have evidence. At this point, I will be pressing charges, and I don’t know when it became OK for anyone let alone two senior citizens to behave in such a way. Because of this incident, I have made a decision that until further notice we will not be accepting any new customers. Thank you.

Happy New Year everyone🎉🥳 Just a reminder that Quin and I are the only ones who take and post pictures and with myself not working, she is doing her best and photos are never guaranteed, they’re just an extra service we TRY to do. Also, with these colder temperatures, keeping the dogs safe from frostbite is our number one concern, so dogs are not going on walks or having their photos taken outside. At this temperature, we just get them in and out as quickly and safely as possible to do their business. Also, a reminder that there is no daycare when it’s colder than -15. I hope everyone has an amazing 2025, and I wish everyone health and happiness in the year ahead.
