North American Bulldogs North America’s Finest Standard-Type American Bulldogs 🇨🇦 They stand about 23 to 27 inches at the shoulder and weigh between 90 and 120 pounds.

My "North American Bulldogs" belong to the Scott Bulldog line, with the exception of "Cracker" and "Puddles" who are "Hybrids." (meaning that she is a cross between the Scott American Bulldog and the Johnson American Bulldog)

Scott American Bulldog's:
"Allen Scott’s American bulldogs, often called “standard” American bulldogs, remained smaller and more athletic than those bred by Johnson. Despite

being a taller dog, standing between 22 and 27 inches at the shoulder, the Scott type is sometimes mistaken for an American pit bull terrier." Johnson American Bulldogs:
"The Johnson American bulldog, also called the classic American bulldog, is the larger of the two American bulldog types. Johnson dogs have heavier bones, wider chests and boxier heads more closely resembling the English bulldog due to a cross with that breed."

This sweet and attentive gentleman has completely won us over. He is the most social puppy in the entire litter and absolutely loves being around people.

His personality is amazing, but what really makes him stand out is his incredible brindle coat and impressive size. He is the largest puppy in the entire litter, and with his structure and markings, we want him as pick of the litter. This boy truly has it all.

We absolutely love sharing updates on this handsome guy.

Introducing Snacc Effron our tiny pocket-sized heartbreaker and the softest little soul in the whole universe 🐶✨

He may start out shy, but once he decides you’re safe, he becomes your personal cuddle magnet. This boy will gently tiptoe his way into your lap, curl up like a warm cinnamon roll, and look up at you with those big thoughtful eyes that say, “You’re mine now.” ❤️

Snacc watches everything with the calmest, sweetest curiosity like a little old man trapped in a fluffy baby body. He’s gentle, polite, and has the kind of tender personality that makes you want to wrap him up in a blanket and whisper, “It’s okay, baby, the world is soft today.” 🥺🩷

This litter is full of structure, personality, and charm each one a whole mood but Snacc Effron brings that peaceful, heart-melting, grounding energy. He’s the puppy people meet and instantly go, “Ohhhh no… I’m in trouble… I need him.” 🐾

And YES, the name Snacc Effron fits him perfectly because every time you look at him you can’t help but think: “Lord help me, I could gobble this little sugar cookie right up.” 😄🍪

I miss you every day Muffin. You were my best friend when i was feeling like no one was there for me. I love you and I’m happy to have had you in my life as long as I did. 💔

We put an Apple tree in place of Muffins grave because apples were her favourite thing. She used to eat so many apples all night long from the Apple tree 😭❤️

This girl is a standard type American Bulldog and that alone sets her apart. Standard American Bulldogs are rare and she is truly extraordinary, a one of a kind gem.

Our Story

“We have created this page to share love for the American Bulldog breed specifically, but also for dogs in general. We hope to help educate people on bully breeds, and dog behaviour. About the Breed: Scott American Bulldogs: "Allen Scott’s American bulldogs, often called “standard” American bulldogs, remained smaller and more athletic than those bred by Johnson. Despite being a taller dog, standing between 20 and 26 inches at the shoulder, the Scott type is sometimes mistaken for an American pit bull terrier." Johnson American Bulldogs: "The Johnson American bulldog, also called the classic American bulldog, is the larger of the two American bulldog types. They stand about 22 to 28 inches at the shoulder and weigh between 90 and 120 pounds. Johnson dogs have heavier bones, wider chests and boxier heads more closely resembling the English bulldog due to a cross with that breed." Hybrid American Bulldogs: A cross between Scott and Johnson American Bulldogs, still considered purebred American Bulldogs. Their size and build will differ according to which line they are more likened to. Hybrid AB’s are more often mistaken for Pit-Bull Terrier’s due to carrying the Johnson’s muscular build, combined with the Scott face. However, under closer inspection you can notice that AB’s will always have bigger jowls.
