In the stillness of a cold morning, with the sun casting warmth on the snowy ground, I find gratitude for the peace that only silence alongside my animals can bring. A beautiful reminder that the quiet moments hold the most profound beauty.

Here’s to the owners who are outside every couple of hours to monitor their horses’ health in these frigid temps.

Here’s to the owners who are checking waterers for ice. Here’s to the owners who are freezing their fingers to hang up their hose, or bringing hoses inside their house to keep from freezing.

Here’s to the owners switching blankets, double blanketing, or cleaning out shelters for their unblanketed horses. Here’s to the owners who are worried if their horse is staying warm enough with or without their blanket.

Here’s to the owners who are throwing countless flakes of loose hay out while making sure the round bale feeders don’t go empty.

Here’s to the owners praying that equipment starts, and hydraulics work smoothly. Here’s to the owners who figure it out when the equipment fails you.

Here’s to the messy mud room, filled with winter bibs, charged heated vests, boot dryers plugged in, and headlamps charged. Here’s to the countless pairs of gloves you have to swap out each time you venture outside.

Here’s to the rigorous training schedules, riding lessons, and busy barn coming to a halt. Here’s to putting the health of the animal’s first.

Here’s to the part of horse management that isn’t so glamorous. Thank you for all you are doing for the safety and wellbeing of your horses during this time.

Here’s to all of us ❄️🩵

It was probably our coldest camp to date but being able to be inside to do other activities made a big difference!

We worked with our horses on the ground today, perfecting ground handling, and grooming. Also showing our campers how a horse with a proper insulated coat will actually keep themselves warm despite the snow!

Today's baking activity was bread in a bag, which was a huge hit for the kids, who also decided to make colored bread! Farm themed bingo was next on the list, followed by our camp favorite chicken Olympics.

Couldn't think of a better way to spend this cold day 🥰

For the second year in a row we have won this award.

To say I'm grateful is an understatement. This space was a dream of mine for so long, and I love being able to share it with everyone that steps onto the property.

Here's to almost four years, and winning this award yet again!

🙏❤️

Our last day of Christmas break camp was absolutely beautiful!

The wind had died down and the sun came out to warm us up! We enjoyed a lot more time outside, taking the opportunity to head to our forest for a winter nature scavenger hunt, learning all about different forage that keep through the winter for wild life, identifying different animal prints in the snow, and working as a team to complete the hunt!

Having an indoor space this year made an incredible different for winter camps giving a much needed space to warm up, but also allowing the campers to really enjoy their time outdoors with the animals!

Our next camp is our January 20th PA day camp, and then our March Break Camp as well! Both have limited spots remaining!

What a cold day today was 🥶
Lots of breaks inside where we made some molasses horse cookies for students and horses to enjoy!
Our goats and ponies also enjoyed their grooming sessions, and chicken time was a hit as always 🥰

Camp day 2 on Monday!

It was quite muddy on the farm after all the rain this weekend but we made the best of it by grooming our animals, making goat and horse oat snacks, and learning chicken trick training 😁
