"Real Food, Real Choices"
it all started when we rescued a poor starved jersey cow .... We brought her home and fed her, and fed her and kept on feeding her till she finally said “i think i am full.... thankyou!” We ourselves were so frusterated with the quality of the food in the retail stores that we decided to grow our own, we finally could control what we were eating and we loved our jersey back to life again with REAL FOOD...
She calved in the fall and we were able to drink our own milk, make our own yogurt, ice cream and butter and also to eat our own meat.... no we didnt eat her.... but she gave us so much milk that i had to purchase orphaned calves to help with the milk production, and now here we are, able to offer quality beef, real beef as it should be without chemicals and stuff...... Here at The Country Gate, we are a locally owned and family operated business. We offer grass fed, pasture raised beef, farm fresh eggs, and wildflower raw honey.
All of our animals are raised in small herds, are handled regularly, eat natural food and live happy healthy stress free lives. Our calves, which were destined to slaughter as veal at a very young age are now able to live an incredible life with a herd and a mom. We now have 3 dairy cows that love and adopt them all as their own. We do not use antibiotics, hormones or additives on our animals or in our products.
