I just love how quickly the chickens respond when I call them.

Hatch #2 has begun! This hen now called Sneaky was sitting on a clutch of eggs in the boat for a week before I was finally able to follow her and find the nest. She’s sitting on 14 eggs, no idea how many will hatch. Two nights ago another hen did not come home at bedtime, but did return the next morning to eat. Same thing again last night and this morning. Hatch #3 in progress. Sound up! #chicks #chickens #clutch #babies #hobbyfarm #newlife #fluffybutt
