It is with great sadness that I have to announce that I will be closing the doors to my grooming shop as of September 13th. In the last year or two, business has been fluctuating so much from week to week, I never know if I will make enough to pay my bills. In the last few months, it has been slowly getting slower. So I have decided it's time to let go and move on to something else. What that will be is a mystery at this time. I do believe that once I close this door, the next one will open for me soon. It's a little scary, but to grow, we must do things that we fear.
I would like to Thank you all from the bottom of my heart for your business and support over the years. I will miss all my fur friends and their 2 legged parents. My books are open until September 13th, for those who have already booked after that date, your appointment will be honored.

Good evening, everyone. I am currently dog sitting for a friend who's in the hospital, so it may be a little more noisy when you come. She's a farm girl who doesn't see a lot of ppl or dogs. This is actually only her 2nd time off the farm. Thankfully, she and mine are getting along.

Wow, what a day! My first one didn't make it in. The next client had 2, and one decided to slip out of his collar and take himself for a stroll up the road. 😬😬😬😬 scared the crap out of his mom and me. Thankfully, he was not harmed in anyway. I now suggest your fur babies collar is not able to slip off, at least for arriving here. I want them to be safe coming and going. The 4th fur friend was a little late, but let me know they were running late. The 5th one came in early and was the only one that didn't mess in the shop today. Today was a day of grooming and picking up messes. Just a reminder that I do charge for them, due to paper towel and cleaning supplies aren't cheap. Thank you for understanding.

This week has been pretty busy. Had the pleasure of meeting a few new ones this week. Today was a large brush out on a beautiful gal. Also had a regular kitty in for her hair trim. It has been a great week so far. I have met a few new fur friends, get to meet a couple more still. I got my week filled up enough to my liking. Got myself a new dentist. Been a great week so far. I have had the pleasure of meeting a few new fur friends, some of those being only a few months old. Which is perfect because they'll be used it in no time. I had 6 dogs in for groomings today and a nail trim. They all got along great. Tomorrow brings in another new fur friend as well as a regular. Today, I had the pleasure of meeting a new beauty. She was awesome, I even got some kisses from her. The other big guy in comes in for a yearly shave down. Today was a full day. Had a big girl in, who hadn't been here in over a year. Had the pleasure of meeting 2 cute yorkies as well. Also had a great kitty cat in for a shave. Filled a few more spots for the week. It has been a great day.

I had the pleasure of meeting a new fur friend today. He was only few months old and did amazing. So freaking cute and adorable. The little gal, who came in after him, was also cute and adorable. Had a great day today. EXCEPT for the random guy who just showed up. He had no appointment and was looking for the cost. I told him that I am by appointment and don't like drop ins. He says okay I will leave." But continues to ask me my price. I told him anywhere from 45 to 60 depending on the condition of coat, size and behavior, or dog. He then says well you're just going to charge me 60 anyways, so never mind."" 🤷‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🙄 and gets in his truck and leaves. He totally wasted my time and interrupted my grooming process. This is why I am BY APPOINTMENT ONLY AND NO DROP INS! I own dogs that need to get outside and are major guard dogs, and go nuts when someone shows up and their outside. I have them in when I know someone is arriving soon. Also, some clients only give me so much time because of appointments or prior commitments they have. Some dogs don't do well with getting picked up and put down over and over.
So if you hear anyone talking bad about me, remember that there's two sides to every story, and I have boundaries. Also remember PLEASE DO NOT OPEN MY DOOR and walk in! This is my home and my cat likes to try and escape. Rant over.

Had in one huge guy and one tiny girl in today. Big guy was groomed upstairs because he won't go down my stairs. He is one of the reasons why I get mad whenever someone just walks into my house. Just never know what's on the other side, and it could cause someone losing their dog. Nobody wants that to happen.

This is why I usually have ¹my door locked and yell at anyone who just walks into my house, without me letting you in. There's a few fur friends that do not like stairs. But too big for me to carry down them. Lol So I groom in the entrance. I do what's right and comfortable for your pooch. Thank you for your understanding.

Great week so far. Got to see our favorite crazy's today. We have missed them. But if we don't see our fur friends monthly we start to miss them. We have openings for next week.
