With all of the education I have received re: saddle fitting over the years I find this system the best to communicate with your tree/saddlemaker/ saddle salesperson what your horse needs.

Thank you Peter Mayer for introducing me to this system & thank you to Sue Norquay for sharing your template.

I worked on releasing fascia and trigger points on this mare. She was very soft tissue sore and could not tolerate friction. There is always a way and every horse needs something different.

A veterinarian addressed the primary cause of the pain and I made the mare feel better because her body was compensating and I released those restrictions:

Great results with this mare and huge releases.

Sponsored rider Jordyn Farmer has been a pleasure to work with. She is a hard worker and pitches in whenever asked. Best of luck this weekend at Billy Barker Days in Quesnel.

Jordyn has offered to lend us her rope horse “Buzz” for a five year old youth from Nazko to ride in the opening ceremony on Sunday. Not many people will lend out their competition horse at the drop of a hat. I can’t thank you enough for being grounded and gererous🖤

We will love up on Buzz for this and make him feel special🪶

I worked on sponsored rider Jessie Pearson’s horse “Lexi” this morning. What a great team, this horse does barrels, BAR, & team-roping! What a versatile horse.

Jessie is organized with her horses care-plan and always organizes monthly equine sports therapy sessions for Lexi as she travels to various rodeos. Jessie lives in Ft. St. John & we make it work!! “Where there is a will there is a way”. Thank you for choosing 3L for Lexi’s bodywork needs🖤.

3L Equine Therapy

I have spent a lifetime working with horses. Growing up I started out spending a lot of time on the race track with my mother and I learnt how to care for performance horses. As a child I showed western pleasure in open shows and AQHA events. In my early twenties I was fortunate to be able to work with a variety of reining trainers after graduating from the Equine Science 2 year Diploma program at Olds College. Following that I was able to ride in Austria with some Canadian reiners; I value the great horsemanship that I obtained during those years. For the next ten years I trained horses and gave riding lessons; I noticed that horses needed more help to enhance performance and took the 2 year Equine Sports Therapy program at the BC College of Equine Therapy where I learned how to provide a variety of modalities to assist horses to perform to the best of their ability. This is a business yet a passion and I am always an advocate for what is best for the horse and take great pride in partnering with clients to achieve their goals.
