The trucks are loaded and will be on the road tomorrow morning. We are so excited to see you August 16 from 2pm to 7pm at the Alex Fraser Agriplex

Please don’t arrive too early and give us time for our staff to set up :-) We will post when we are ready to rock and roll. We have added a few additions to our list and below you will see an updated list of what is coming. :-)

Alex Fraser Park is seeking contractor quotes.

Alex Fraser Park is requesting quotes to install ceiling mesh {either netting or wire} to prevent pigeons from entering facility spaces.

The two areas requiring installation measures
85 ft x 22 ft
160 ft x 14 ft

Viewing can be arranged by contacting the AFP Caretaker at [email protected] or

Proposals can be sent to the AFP Office and will be accepted up until May 1st 2024.

As a friendly reminder to all riders, members and affiliates renting/using the indoor arena. The indoor arena was completely cleaned and new footing put in.l this year.
We would like to express that we need to all do our parts to keep the footing and arena clean. Please remove garbage and clean up after the horses/stock during and after your ride/rental.
This will ensure the manure is not trampled into the new ground.

We are so grateful to be nominated for the Tourism & Hospitality Award.

Congratulations to Alex Fraser Park Society for their Tourism & Hospitality nomination. They are a dedicated group of volunteers who maintain the grounds and buildings. They bring in many events to the grounds every year from not only BC but other provinces as well.

We regret to inform everyone that we will be cancelling the 2023 Gold Rush Reining show due to a saturated base and unsafe ground. Despite our best efforts to dry the base, consultation with several contractors, trainers, and other facilities, The water keeps saturating the ground from the bottom up. It is out of our control, and we are unable to guarantee safe stopping ground for our show. As we take the night to regroup, we hope that we can postpone our show to a date later this year. We are so sorry for any inconvenience this causes, and we will be working non-stop to ensure that our next show runs without a hitch! Thank you everyone for your patience and understanding!
