We are a riding lesson program located in Quesnel BC, and are in search of some new equine partners to add to our team!
Must be mares. No geldings.
Horse #1: beginner safe horse. Age, breed doesn’t matter. 14hh-16+hh. Will be mostly ridden western, some flat beginner english lessons and ba****ck. Would need to be sound enough to w/t/c and carry adults. Needing refresher is fine, but must be level headed easy going personality. Must be able to be out on grass (no founder). No cribbers.
Horse #2: confident beginner and up horse. 6-15 years old. 15+hh, the taller the better. Will be ridden in intermediate lessons w/t/c through trail & obstacle, gymkhana, cross rails & low level jumping. Needing refresher is fine, but must not have any major behavioural or soundness issues. Must be able to be out on grass (no founder). No cribbers.

In light of the recent wildfires affecting our neighbouring communities, we want to extend a helping hand to those who have been affected. Our hearts go out to all the families during this challenging time.
To provide some relief and a bit of joy, we are offering a free riding lesson to any children of families who have been evacuated to our area Quesnel BC due to wildfires.
We hope this small gesture can bring some smiles and comfort to the children in our community.

Virtual showing is an amazing opportunity for green riders & horses, or even those experienced who want or need to stay home. This is the first series out of our country we have participated in. I am very thankful for everyone who takes the time to organize these shows!
I put off opening this card for awhile. I knew it would bring back the sorrow of losing our special boy. The hand written notes inside from the staff mean a lot, and I just wanted to let everyone know what a wonderful clinic we have here in Quesnel.
They have always gone above and beyond with the care they have provided to any and all of our animals. I am so thankful to be able to have such a trusted team to help look after all our animals medical needs.

Beginner safe large pony or horse
10-20 years old
Preferably mare, but will consider geldings that are used to being in a herd environment.
Must be tolerable of beginner riders learning from the ground to under saddle
Sound enough to go walk, trot, canter
Does not need to have all the buttons, but must have a safe easy going personality
No major behavioural vices
Budget will depend on horse

We have a little mini stud available
17 years old
We were going to have him gelded, but one of our other horses got injured so his procedure is on the back burner. Maybe someone out there would like to have him gelded and add him to their program, or use him as a stud?
He’s good with kids and other animals. He was in with our bull this spring. Can occasionally be tough to catch if he’s out in a large paddock.
Good with his feet, doesn’t look like he’s foundered previously. We don’t have any kids small enough to ride him, but my son did sit on him to see what he thought and he didn’t care at all.
Happy to discuss other living arrangements for this little guy.
Amazing home only for little Bucky. We love this little guy, but we’re currently elbow deep in vet bills and hate to see him isolated.
We are located in Quesnel and can help arrange local transport.
Would be open to considering trades for a pony mare, or open to different options.

• Personable and great with young kids
Duties Include:
• Manure clean-up
• Grooming
• Cleaning & oiling tack
• Sweeping/cleaning barn, aisles, & stalls
• Setting up & taking down arena obstacles
• Lunging & warming up horses
• Assisting in lessons and lead lining young riders
• Extra tasks like weeding and picking rocks available for those seeking more work

I don’t have many pictures to share because I was too cold to take my gloves off. 🥶 Winter is back, but we still have our dedicated riders toughing it out and enjoying their time with our amazing equine partners.
Some of them are getting thrown in the deep end this month with an impromptu virtual show coming up much sooner than expected.
