Changing seasons, is a time for renwal.

For our chickens 🐔, that means molting

This a press of loosing the old feathers to make space for shiny, healthy new feathers.

This process takes up to 6 weeks, and means slower egg 🥚 productions as the ladies rest and renew.

What a fantastic way to star the the fall.

It's a reminder to slow down, take in the seasons and create space for renewal in all our lives

Gardening Tip 👩🏻‍🌾 👩🏻‍🌾

Spinach + zucchini = 😃❤️

The spinach will be all done when the zucchini plants need extra room. Planting them together allows us to utilize the full size of the garden bed, and keep weeds under control.

1 cup greens (our favorites are broccoli, sunflower, or peas)
1 cup strawberry
1 cup mango
1 banana
1/2 cup yogurt (optional)
