Maverick was terrified of these “foot stools”. When we tried to walk by, he gave them a LOT of space and couldn’t be coached in verbally to come check them out. Of course I forgot to hit record until we were 3/4 of the way through the session (😑) but in the end we got it 🥳
* When I’m out training, I normally won’t use anything in the store as “props” unless intended for dog use, but in this case I made an exception.

Both boys are being conditioned to having their nails dremeled. Winston is doing so good! Maverick will still need a lot of conditioning before he’s ready for his video, but he will get there ❤️

This is our first time training on birds in almost 2 months 🤯 between the weather, and illness, it’s been hard to get outside.
One of the things Freak Show and I are currently working on is her “hold” behaviour - eventually this will be her “whoa” command.
You can see after the first “bird bust”, she gets an ecollar correction. I remind her not to do that to my birds, and we try again. The ecollar should help guide and shape behaviour, this should be a positive experience! We are back chaining out this exercise - how do you think we did?
👉 Freak Show is low on hunt drive, so we had to develop her point by bridging the drive gaps with cognitive development. I am so proud of how she looks after just a few sessions of shaping 🥰

We had an INCREDIBLE public access training session today. Being Christmas Eve, the stores were packed with people. This “kid” was completely unfazed 👏👏👏
Tyson and I had to “gently” remind 3 (YES 3!) grown adults that the dog is a marked Service Dog and NOT TO TOUCH!! 🤬 The Money did FANTASTIC staying friendly but neutral ❤️ but what am I going to do with such a cute SD!!?? Sharky looks like she’d cut a b*tch even though she’s super sweet, so we have only encountered this a time or two with her. People respect her to keep their hands to themselves 🤷🏻♀️
