FASHIONABLE FOSTERS 🧥👕

Last week Bone & Biscuit Southpointe & Bone & Biscuit East Hill in Red Deer put an offer out to gift our foster dogs some incredible winter gear!

They have always been such an incredibly compassionate supporter to our rescue and this was just one more example of their generosity!

A HOPEFUL FOREVER 💕

In mid-January, we introduced you to Kai, our emergency intake with a wire embedded in his neck. Despite limited space and resources, our incredible supporters stepped up in a *huge* way to help him heal.

Now, nearly six weeks later, we're reaching out once again—but this time with exciting news: Kai is ready to find his forever home! Do you think you can help share so we can find his people?

This sweet boy has made an incredible recovery and has kept his loving spirit through it all. He’s house trained, crate trained, great with dogs of all sizes, and, though minimal time together, unbothered by the cats he has met. Despite the hardships he’s faced, Kai has consistently chosen joy.

We've got another event this Saturday Feb 22nd at Global Pet Foods Sylvan Lake from 11am to 2 pm!

Milo and Fido will warm your hearts after this cold snap. These husky cross pups are almost 3 months old and looking to find their forever homes. They've been raised in foster homes with kids, cats and other dogs.

BIG NEWS 🎉

This weekend, we celebrated adoption number 5000 ‼️

Since opening our doors in August 2020 (figuratively speaking as we operated out of a garage for many months to start 😂), we have worked tirelessly to help animals in need.

Ms. Maggie was adopted on the weekend to her new forever fam, allowing us to reach this milestone!

Thanks everyone for sharing, liking, adoption, fostering, donating and spreading the word - you all helped us get here and we’re so proud of how far we’ve come 💕💕

Bull & Toto are just about 3 months and Cash is just over 4 months! All pups are house and kennel trained, good with dogs, kids (of all ages) and cats! They will ge a perfect addition to any home.

Coal: A Boy FULL of Love and Energy! 🖤🐾

Meet Coal, a big, lovable 1.5-year-old black lab weighing in at around 80 lbs of pure charm and energy!

💪 He’s got a heart as big as his appetite, and a nose that can sniff out snacks from places you didn’t even know existed. (Be warned, if there's food in the vicinity, he will find it! 🍕🍖) But don’t worry—he’s food-motivated, which means he picks up new tricks in a flash with just a treat or two. 🍪

This big boy loves his sprint sessions to burn off energy, and once he’s done, he’s perfectly content to relax and chill. 🛋️ He’s the ideal mix of active and laid-back. When it comes to playtime, his squeaky toys and balls are his absolute favorites, and he’ll happily entertain himself running them around like a one-dog playdate. 🎾

Coal is friendly with everyone he meets—people, other dogs, you name it! 👫🐶 But when he’s excited, his zoomies can be a bit much. He’s got so much love to give, but he might not be the best match for families with really little children, since he tends to get a little rambunctious when he's riled up (you may find yourself knocked over by this big bundle of joy!). 💥

If you’re looking for a big, fun-loving, affectionate dog who’s got the energy to keep up with your adventures but also loves a good cuddle session, Coal could be the perfect fit for you! Just make sure you’ve got room for all 80 lbs of love. 🏡💖

Meet Peanut 🥜

She's a 1-year-old husky with a stunning liver brown coat that could melt your heart. At 45lbs, she's the perfect size for long hikes *and* binge-watching Netflix on the couch.

Peanut loves kids, gets along great with other dogs, and is totally cool with cats—she’s basically the ultimate family companion.

She’s still figuring out home life, but don’t worry, she’s super quick to please, and training is going smoothly. Plus, she’s kennel trained, food motivated, and doesn’t have a single ounce of food aggression (so no stealing your snacks).

FURRY FAMILY FILLED WEEKEND 💕

We have not one… not two… but FOUR events this weekend!

SATURDAY - FEB 15th

1. Bone & Biscuit Southpointe is welcoming us in starting at 11am with the most adorable border collie cross puppies looking for their forever. Mom weighed 45 pounds.

2. Pet Valu in Didsbury will be hosting Bella and Bo who are so excited to hopefully find their families. They are estimated Shepherd mixes, but both on the smaller and more petite side.

3. Crimson Lake Winterfest is hosting their annual Freezin’ for a Reason! There is so many fun activities, both inside and outside to do with your families. Including adoptable, dogs and puppies and a whole cabin full of little pups to snuggle.

SUNDAY - Feb 16th

4. Pet Valu Bower in Red Deer will have a group of adoptable’s on site looking for their forever. Maxie will now be joining the crew. She’s five months old and only about 20 pounds. Her mom weighed about 25 to 30 pounds and maxi shaping up to be a really lovely small to medium-size dog just like her!
