Today I had the pleasure of making a card for a Ukrainian family we live next to. With obvious reasons, they are going thru a stressful time right now. We hope we can spread just a little joy to them with this. God bless Ukraine.

Finally got to finish the card for our vet clinic. Lomsnes Veterinary Hospital in Red Deer, AB is such a fantastic vet clinic. They took such good care of us while we said our final good-bye to our senior cat, Ruthy. Feel bad for taking so long to finish it. We are truly grateful for all the love they showed us.

That, there, is 38 handmade Christmas cards with 38 handmade envelopes. They are addressed and ready to be sent out. I need to make a couple more as my husband added a couple more names to the list. It shouldn’t take me long to make them, just need to stay motivated.

In case you are wondering how my evening is going. I stamped the sentiment and my personal “cards by Kristy” stamp and then realized they are all backwards. The card is vertical not horizontal!! I just about cried.

Half the snowmen have been sprayed with perfect pearl mist & are currently drying. Christmas cards are coming along.

What have you been up to today? I have spent the day stamping, painting and cutting dozens of cute little snowmen. Not gonna have a repeat of last year where I have to undergo emergency surgery right at Christmas time. Cards did not get made. Cards did not get sent. First year in forever. However, it was 2020. Well NOT this year, they’re getting done EARLY! 🙌🏻
