Hello Friends, it's been a while.

For our last post we want to thank all of you that supported us over the last 3 years. We are so grateful for each and everyone of you that believed in supporting a local, small business and enjoyed our leafy greens!🥬

If you have been following our page, you'll know that we put our farm up for sale. We have had very mixed emotions about this decision, but in the end, knew it was the right thing for us to do at this time. 🙁

We can finally announce with sincere pleasure that the new owners of our farm is Red Deer Food Bank! We can't think of a better place for it to be and find comfort in knowing it will continue to thrive in the hands of Jim, Sam & crew! Also a big thank you to Mitch Thomson for being such a wonderful person to work with to make this happen. We're very happy that it will be able to supply fresh leafy greens to so many in need, in the community!

So with that...we bid adieu...from the bottom of our hearts...we THANK YOU!

This is too good not to share on our page. More than likely you have all heard of Steel Pony Farm but if you haven't then you need to check them out! They have amazing local products and the best team of people ever! We love you guys!! 🩵🥹

I'm sad to say that we are losing Green Euphoria as a producer for our program.

Owners Mike and Lisa Slimmon have been providing us with wonderful head lettuces this summer and fall. They have been such a fun family to connect with and their humor, easy going nature and kindness led us to become fast friends.

Mike is facing some health challenges and they have decided to sell their business in order for him to focus on getting healthy.

Quick Story: Mike and I both have a quirky sense of humor and our weekly product update text messages quickly turned into jokes and general strangeness back and forth. For some reason, we ended up giving each other names like "Lord Mike", "Kaptin Koz" or "King Slimmon".

Mike grew a head lettuce variety called "Alkindus" and each time I heard that name I thought of a mythical lettuce/elk beast charging through the forest. I used an image generating AI to create this image as a send off for Mike.

I see Lord Slimmon atop the back of his trust steed, sword ready to battle and win against the challenge before him.

Good luck Mike and Lisa, we love who you are and are so lucky to have had the chance to work with you and develop a friendship. Come spend time with us in the garden next spring.

As you may have observed we haven't been making many posts lately & apologies for that but...

We needed to take some time to grasp some unexpected news that we were recently given. Michael has been diagnosed with Prostate Cancer and will be having major surgery in a few months, therefore this has forced us to make some big decisions.

With mixed emotions, this will be the last year for Green Euphoria.

Our farm is up for sale & we will be officially shutting it down on Saturday, Dec. 9th.

Being a part of locally grown products, w/our new way of farming was an unsure venture in the beginning, but one that Michael believed in. We learned so much, met so many wonderful people & had the opportunity to partner with some amazing and fantastic fellow farmers & local businesses!

To those of you that have supported us over the last 3+ yrs, we can not THANK YOU enough. We couldn't have done it without all of YOU! Words will never be enough for the gratitude we have for those of you that truly believe in SUPPORTING LOCAL!

But now it is time for Michael & I to take time for Michael.

It means everything to us, to be able to supply to our community. So when our local store 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐞𝐭 𝐖𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐜𝐞𝐫 & 𝐁𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐫𝐲 believes in our product, it warms our heart!
