And one of the best parts, is when they share these amazing videos and graphics on New Years Eve! So, we wanted to share some of them with you!

🎄This week, we're going to try something new!🎄
We'll be reposting some of the amazing animals in the shelter who haven't found their homes yet - even after repeated spotlights and adoption posts.
So please, meet 🐱PIXEL🐱, for the second time! (Repost from March 18th)
Sometimes the job of being the social media lady is really tough...because sometimes you have to go sit in the Roam Room and get to hang out with the cats.
It's a super hard job, but someone's gotta do it. (I'm kidding. Is this the best job ever? Yep. Probably!)
On Friday, when I walked into the Roam Room, three cats made sure to greet me - as in, they came right up, rubbed up against my legs and made a meowing ruckus to let me know they were there and THEY WERE THE ONES I WANTED TO HANG OUT WITH.
We've introduced you to the first one - Shrimp - a number of times. He's like the King Daddy of the joint. Everyone looks up to him. Everyone wants to be like him. Heck, as he's lying like a lumpy bearskin rug on the floor, his legs splayed out, I want to be like him. He is so unapologetically Shrimp and it's inspiring.
The second was Twigs, who decided my shoulder was the optimal place to hang out while I was in there, and he made it very clear that he was going to lick my teeth - if I wanted them licked or not. Pretty sure we were BFF's once I got outta there.
And the third was Pixel. She wasn't quite as up front as the other two - nah, she was a little more subtle about making friends. She was always hanging around - not on my shoulders and not like some lawn ornament in front of me at all times. She'd follow along slowly behind, little meows to let me know which cats I should be paying attention to and which ones weren't worth my time.
When I'd sit on the floor, she'd come around, make sure she'd climb up a cat tree just enough to look me in the eye and let me know that she was the one I should be paying attention to.

There are some dogs - no matter how sweet they are, how playful and fun they are, or how cute they are - have the worst problems.
Poor Tiki.
At first, it was a case of the worst gas we had ever smelled. Girl could clear a room with a single toot.
So we put her on special food...and the smell got a little better.
Then, as we began to breath easy, not only could she clear a room, but she was having issues holding it in. Nothing was safe...not her crate...her fosters bed...the carpet...even the walls couldnt escape the wrath of Tiki's bathroom issues.
So she was put on antibiotics...
and more antibiotics...
and MORE antibiotics...
Until those didn't work anymore.
It wasn't Parvo.
It wasn't allergies.
It wasn't stress.
Maybe Gardia?
So more meds...more time...more messes.
But look at her - you can't keep a good girl down!
When we raise money - a lot of times we ask for the sad cases - the starving, the dying, the neglected, the super sick.
And sometimes we are asking so we can save a tiny soul who is absolutely fighting through the pain and strife to have a great life.
Tiki is honestly costing us a fortune...but come on...do you blame us?
