Looking for a heated indoor arena with a friendly atmosphere, Willowdale has all the amenities to make winter riding more enjoyable. Weekly lessons are available from beginner to advanced and clinics held throughout the winter season.

Alexander Grayton is a high performance rider and trainer at the world-renowned Spruce Meadows in Calgary. He ran a very successful training and sales business in the Calgary area for more than 15 years.

Alexander has competed at the highest level in show jumping, having won numerous Grand Prix events and travelled around the world competing internationally. He is known for his systematic, analytical, and compassionate approach to training, as he has had many success stories of producing young horses from the very beginning stages all the way through their international careers.

Alexander is a renowned clinician, and has a wealth of knowledge to share through his years competing, teaching, and learning from his own mentors along the way.

Willowdale Equestrian Centre is hiring! We are a busy equine facility located just outside of Red Deer, Alberta that is seeking a reliable part time barn staff member.

Job duties include:
โ€ข Feeding/wellness checks
โ€ข Blanketing and turnout
โ€ข Cleaning stalls
โ€ข Maintaining barn cleanliness
โ€ข General yard work
โ€ข Lifting up to 60lb (hay bales, feed bags)
โ€ข Horse experience is a must, and barn staff work experience is an asset but not required.

The ideal candidate has a positive attitude, works well with others, and enjoys the physical aspects of barn work. Must have own transportation, valid drivers license and over 18 years of age.
