📍📍registration is CLOSED📍📍

🟡Reminder this opens tomorrow at 9am for 48 hours!🟡

⭐️I've had a few questions about entering so I will add clarification here:

If you are debating which seminar to enter, because your team falls into both categories, you may choose both and just let me know which is your preference. If you don't get drawn in your preference, I will add you to the other seminar draw. (Working spots only)

You MAY NOT enter 2 dogs in the same seminar. You MAY NOT switch between 2 dogs in the same seminar spot. You MAY enter a different dog in the AM and PM spot - both will be drawn in the lottery and it does not guarantee entry into both seminars if you get drawn into one.

If you don't get drawn for a working spot in either seminar you will be give the option to audit without going through the lottery process.

NO registration forms will be accepted AFTER 9am (Sask time) on Oct 3rd according to the time on MY computer. If you don't receive confirmation on your registration, by Oct 5th at 9am, then it hasn't been accepted. If spots remain I will open up another round of registration.

ALL WORKING SPOTS AUTOMATICALLY GET AN AUDIT SPOT ⭐️

HD - Scent Detections Nov 22 - 23 seminar with Julie Gaboury opens for Registration soon! Located just outside Regina.

Entries OPEN Oct 1, 2025 at 9am and CLOSE Oct 3, 2025 at 9am.

I expect this seminar to fill and overfill. Working spots will be decided by lottery. Auditing spots will be decided by lottery if needed. There are 6 working spots and 12 auditing spots available for each seminar (AM OR PM) over the weekend. Seminars are 4 hours in length each day (continued training over the weekend) giving each team a good amount of time with Julie to train.

📍for working spots: at this time we are only accepting registrations for teams who are able to commit to the full weekend session.

📍registrations will not be accepted after the 48 hour window closes. Confirmations will be sent out by Oct 4th. A waitlist will be started.

📍all other information (cost, details about each seminar etc.) is in the Entry Form attached. If you would like a Word Document Entry Form please let me know.

We will also very likely be having a games trial on Nov 21st late afternoon/early evening! Details on that to come soon!

The Cheermeister Award made it's return!

This year it was award to a volunteer, without a dog or any skin in the game. From driving people up and down the hill, to making lunches, to running scoresheets, to timing, to holding dogs, cheering on competitors and to providing smiles, laughs, and conversations all while being happy to do so. My Bro!

He came to my Spring trial to watch and he instantly said he would love to help out at the next one. I'm not sure he knew what he was signing up for 😆. But he came every day, early mornings and was ready to do whatever. All those little background things so that I didn't have to think of them.

He said the addition to the costume he provides is going to be epic, so I guess that means he's coming back 🤷‍♀️🤪

If he made you smile, laugh or noticed him doing something behind the scenes, I'd love to hear them!

Thanks Bro!!!!

Our trial weekend has come to an end. And what a trial it was! Between a downpour most of the day Saturday to sunny and hot Sunday who knew how to dress or pack for the weekend? I know none of my clothes matched the weather 😂

I want to send a HUGE thank you to all the competitors for entering the trial! For climbing that hill multiple times and doing it with a smile, or maybe it was whincing pain 🤔, and to everyone for cheering on people as they climbed. You were all great at keeping the day running quickly and being where you needed to be a few dogs ahead. We finished both days 30 minutes ahead of schedule!

Next to my army of volunteers. I cannot run these trials without you. To my timers, you are all awesome. It's a lot of focus needed and stagnat standing but also the best place to be to learn! To my gate and parking lot gate stewards - WOW - you guys were running those walkie talkies like had been doing it all your life. Wrangling people is not for the feint of heart and I hope you were hall treated with kindness. To my Score Sheet Runners, a big thank you and a gigantic I'M SORRY for the extra hill climb you had to do. My original intention was to be stationed in the dining all but things changed and I needed to be where Suzy was. You all are troopers for doing double the climbing.

To my family, thank you for wanting to help, for helping and for jumping in both feet, from 1000 feet up, to support me in something I really love doing. I am lucky.

My amazing judges John Mairs and Marina Skoreiko the biggest thank you for coming out, bunking in the cabins, lots of great searches, lots of laughs, lots of good conversations, and for helping with set up and tear down - that was above and beyond. This weekend was hard but you both made it extra great. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I know some things I can adjust, some things I need to bring (it gets super dark out in the country without city lights 😂) and some tweaks to make but I think overall it was pretty darn great!

***yes I said next year 😬😬😬 ironing out dates right now***

Inukshuk Professional Dog Food

Inukshuk Professional Dog Food is produced in our family-owned facility in Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada under the strictest safety and quality assurance guidelines in the industry.

Inukshuk began as a specialized kibble designed to meet the intense nutritional requirements of Canada’s sled dogs. Sled dogs, like those who participate in the Yukon Quest, race through 1,000 miles of rough arctic terrain in temperatures of -58°F (-50°C). These dogs require a tremendous number of calories to stay healthy. Inukshuk Professional Dog Food was invented to keep up with their extreme nutritional demands.

The CoreyTEC™ innovations in pet food allow us to deliver the highest levels of nutrition and energy in the market. Our nutrient-dense formulas mean you feed less than the common brand dog food, stretching each bag further. Inukshuk is ideal for working dogs of any breed, and for kennel owners, breeders, mushers, K9 units, service dogs and any other owners who require top performance level nutrition.

Look for their sponsorship in both your competitor swag bags and NQ prize draws!
