It’s with a broken heart that I announce Penny has passed away. She did so well for the time I had her, and slowly the last few days went down hill. There is only so much you can do when they are so small. I am glad she had any love or care at all. I’m going to be so sad I will never see what she looks like as a big healthy axolotl but her sibling is doing amazing and they will carry on for her 💕

I’d like to introduce our rescue ‘Peg Leg Penny’! The last photo is day 1, I have had her in my care for about 2 weeks now.

She is working on regrowing one limb but she has a good little appetite 😌🍴 I will post updates on her/their progress

We finally have a Facebook! I have decided to do actual business here as it is much easier to reach and connect with local people over Facebook/Messenger. We will still have our Instagram for updates and photos.

I currently have no adoptables available but I will have adoptions open most likely by fall.

Until then we are still accepting surrenders and will post availabilities here. We are also open to messages of any care related questions or concerns! Cheers!
