THE DREAM THAT MANY WILL NOT UNDERSTAND
My dogs are a personal dream. One day when I am very, very old and I can no longer walk, it will be in my heart, the trophy of my memories.
Every time I'm with my dogs, I'm alive, I'm happy, I just think about how wonderful they are.
I stopped explaining myself to those who don't understand and learned to communicate with others who have the same mindset.
I met amazing people who I now call friends from all over the world because of my dogs.
I spent money I didn't have and gave up a lot of things but all of that isn't even worth one special time with my dogs.
They are not just a pet or something I own, they are the missing part of my soul and spirit, they are a part of me. And when someone tells me "it's just a dog"... I nod and smile.
A dog... only the person who loves him understands him. I wish my friends and all their dogs good karma... And here the adventure continues 💭

URGENT HOMES AND FOSTERS ARE NEEDED, DOGS WILL START TO BE SEIZED NEXT WEEK.

These dogs are in not out of nor are they affiliated with our Hartspride, our program. They are rescues located near Edmonton, AB that need help. Please contact 17802647732 or message me for her facebook.

We have made so much progress, unfortunately there are more dogs that have been found that we didn't know about with our previous post. Let's see if we can find the last dogs some homes! 15 Australian Shepherds are still in need of help! Spay and neuter is required for any adoptive homes for any intact dogs.

Puppies
- Bernese black tri female brown eyes. More confident and energetic. Warmed up quickly and was friendly with people who hand fed her to work with her. Good with the dogs on the property but did not like a dog that was brought on the property.
- Bo (reaching out to possible foster home) will need an adopted home. Black bi with one blue eye. He’s very quiet and gentle. Just very timid and needs patience and lots of love
- Copper red bi copper eyes. She would do best as a working dog and with an experienced owner who knows how to channel her behaviours she exhibits into a job. She has natural herding instincts but doesn’t know what to do with it and uses it as a defence mechanism.

Adults
- Sky female blue Merle blue eyes (intact) very shy and very timid but friendly. Doesn’t like strangers but isn’t reactive.
- Jackson red tri blue eyes male (intact) super loving dog and friendly. Pretty well trained but is timid. Has been socialized and been out off the farm so has experience. Just needs more exposure.
- There is an unknown amount of 2 yr old female the owner wouldn’t let me spay. Probably like 4-6. Have no idea what they are like and can’t get more info until animal control informs me on the next steps

Adults that need experience owners and a lot of training, possibly reactive/aggressive

- Champ red bi male neutered and vaccinated
- Teebo black bi male - I don’t know if he was taken in to get Neutered and vaccinated. I’d have to call the clinic
- Robby black bi male - I don’t know if he was taken in to get Neutered and vaccinated. I’d have to call the clinic
- Ruxman red bi male neutered and vaccinated. He is aggressive to strangers on the property but very quiet inside and shy. I was able to feed him then and he was not the same dog as outside. Out side he aggressively barks and stalks you, he’s lunged at me once and bit my boot. Was attempted to be homes about a year ago and bit them multiple times. He need a very experienced owner/dog trainer who has dealt with reactivity in Aussies

Dogs with excessive white have been very sought after for their appearance. Now we are learning the price these dogs pay for human fads.

Congenital deafness has been reported for approximately 80 breeds, with the list growing at a regular rate; it can potentially appear in any breed but especially those with white pigmentation. Congenital deafness in dogs can be acquired or inherited and the Brainstem Auditory Evoked Response (BAER) test is the only accepted method of diagnosis.
