My passion is classical horsemanship/ classical dressage and my specialty is dynamic riding using and understanding bio-mechanics and kinetics. At no point do I ever make a claim to be a perfect rider or to be better than such and such. I struggle all of the time to perfect my riding and my training. I research techniques, theory and constantly work at bettering myself. I am always looking for way

s to explain and coach you as to how to become better. I have studied at the Spanish Riding School in Vienna and I hope to impart some of the knowledge onto others. I am tired of all of the competitive hub bub in the world and have come to the realization that I just wish to enjoy my horse and want to absorb as much information as I can. I work hard to compile information on classical horsemanship which can seem like rocket science at the best of times and I try to make it easier to understand and accomplish. My hope is to inspire as many riders as possible to become better riders and more caring owners. Lately, I have started researching health, wellness and am continuing on my research in fitness and exercise. Our fitness levels and our eating behaviour directly effects our life, health & wellness. I am striving to help others create a better lifestyle so as to better their health and wellness. Life is not long enough to learn everything, therefore I specialize in what I love best, classical horsemanship. Striving for perfection is always a pleasure and dressage definitely offers that. I am an experienced horsewoman, was a professional trainer, am an equine-behaviour specialist and an avid classical dressage enthusiast. My students have Championships and awards at lower levels. I have an inherent sense of humour is revealed when teaching. I have an incredible passion for what I do and it shows in my personality, riding and horsemanship. It does not matter who you are and what you have accomplished as everyone benefits from another set of experienced eyes! On the roster over the years I have had students travel from Australia, Britain, the States and all of Canada. I have coached Equine Canada, American and British riding instructors. Even though I no longer travel to national shows to compete I still proudly coach riders onto some of the top shows in Canada. Some students are pleasure riders, some compete in provincial, national and even international competitions. I have coached tiny, little tots to start working with horses safely and happily to working with retired grandmothers who just want to ride properly. The one thing about my students is that I marvel in their riding and learning journey and I try as hard as possible to help them see their equestrian goals. All students are set up with a strong foundation in proper riding aids, equitation skills and develop a deeper understanding for their horse. The ultimate goal is for the horse and rider to work in unison and ride well with seemingly invisible cues. Everything should look effortless! I enjoy coaching adult riders in their classical development, whether it is basic horsemanship or leading up to medium dressage, but my heart lies with teaching children of all ages and watching their progression over the years. Children are so open minded and soak up all the information like little sponges. They love to laugh, as do I, and it warms my heart to see the bond grow between the horse and the little riders. As for my own education, I ride with Equine Canada, USEF, British List 1, and senior dressage judges, Olympic trainers and masters of various countries and on different continents. I am always striving to become better, which is a constant pursuit for anyone. I am an assistant director at the International Riding Academy and pro-active in it's Hippology Society dedicated to promoting and preserving "Enlightened Equestrian Education" in the Ancient Art of Classical Horsemanship.
