I was hoping never to have to make a post like this again, but here I am. 😔
Sometime in February/early March, we had a pregnant cat dumped at our place. Somehow, against the odds, she managed to figure out how to get into one of our heated cat sheds. I was shocked when I saw her! She had suffered some frost bite on her ears, and looked very hungry.
Once I saw her plight, I made her a comfortable birthing crate, cleaned up a shed, and locked her in. The very next day when I checked the shed, she'd had 7 babies!! Cookie, as I've named her, has been a crazy good momma, and seems to understand what I'm doing. She has been wonderful, letting me clean up, feed and care for everyone!
The kittens are coming up on 8 weeks old, and are ready for homes! They have had their first shots/deworming, and will be getting their boosters next week. Cookie was spayed last week, so no more babies for her!
These kittens are all healthy and normal happy crazy kittens!
The dilute buff grey and the torte are a bonded pair of girls, that should remain together!
