‘At the Limits of Earth’ is a collection of ten, tender homemade songs. First takes and demos versions were incorporated whenever possible.

Lazy Mk's & Friends

Ok, here's a little taste of the behind the scenes action at the Dec MK's recording session. Please note that some instruments are DI'd (not in the room sound) so you can't hear them from the video camera's mics. This material is taken from the track "Frozen" which will be released when the MK's deem the time right. The beginning of the video is out in the main live room with the MK's & Steve the Hat on Keys. The second section show the action in the control room with members from the Pile of Bones Brass playing. The last section is a studio jam, man. This track shows my common working method at SoulSound of recording as many instruments live at once as possible - for this song we tracked drums, bass, pedal steel, keys, and the horn section all at one time. This isn't the "magic" take so please blame and little gaffs the musicians might make on me, as I picked the shots... Enjoy
