The salon is closed on Sunday so we do NOT take appointments, walk in ONLY.
The salon be locked until 10 and again promptly at 1. So no early or late arrivals.

Arlo has his first ROA visit on Monday! He was a little scared and needed some sweet talking now and then, but he made it through like a champ!!

Odin came to meet the ROA crew today! He’s only three months old and already a tank!! I know we often talk about how thankful we are to have clients start their puppies early, we’re EXTRA thankful when said puppy has two XL parents and will likely weight 150lbs full grown! A nervous puppy is a LOT easier to hold on to and train than a scared 150 pound dog who’s afraid of the salon and goes in to fight or flight.
These puppy visits are THE most important part of training and socializing a dog. So thank you to Odin’s family a million times over for letting him come in and meet us all! He had pets and snuggles and a few extra hands for comfort when it got a little scary. He will grow in to a confident, gentle giant!

We DO NOT dematt dogs at around of Apaws.
We understand that this makes clients upset from time to time, but it is an unnecessary procedure that causes SO much pain and trauma. The only reason someone will request dematting would be for aesthetic reasons and hurting an animal isn’t worth that for the groomers at ROA.
We will ONLY ever do what is best for the health and safely of the dog. We understand there are other salons who will dematt a dog, this will not make us change our minds. Not only are the risks of skin trauma and infection incredibly high with dematting, but the physical pain will also instill a fear of the groomer, making them afraid of us and afraid to come in to the salon.
We want to build trust through gentle handling, we want to build healthy relationships with our furry clients. They need to trust in us to show them care and to feel safe walking through the doors.
