Baby Nibbler came to see for their first spa day!! Yorkie puppies are stubborn and sassy and STRONG, Nibbler was no exception. We always say that the yorkshire terrier is the most misunderstood and under valued dog, they're incredibly intelligent, agile, capable and hard working. Thankfully Nibbler's family know the breed well and started grooming as soon as that second set of vaccines were done, instilling a feeling of confidence with the process.

It's the sisters from again, back for their usual.

Have you ever stopped by and wondered why EVERYTHING looks so darn delicious?! Well, here's your answer!
Loki and Thor are the distinguished taste buds who insist on testing every single thing before it hits the fridges and freezers. Nothing gets past these two and they do it ALL for you, how selfless is that?! It's a big job to take on, but they're always happy to help, and their family makes sure they get regular spa days to help them relax and unwind.
With the holiday season sneaking up quickly make sure to pop by their shop for all your favorites, they promise that I'd they don't love it they won't sell it!

Walk in nail trims.
No appt necessary.
$15 per dog, $20 for dogs with behavioral issues.
Please don't arrive before 10am, the doors will be locked. If you require two groomers there may be a bit of a wait while we finish up dogs who need just the one. Please let us know in advance if you need extra hands.
We are not accepting new clients with aggression issues.
If you are an existing Sunday client who needs a specific time please reach out.

The season is upon us! We always book up super fast, BUT December always books a month in advance. .x.x and are already booked nearly full.
If you have a specific groomer you prefer to book with book as soon as possible. We can't promise available dates and times wk be available if they're not pre-booked.
We will NOT be open extra hours in December, we have been in the past and it has burned us out for the holidays, which is unfair to us and our families. So we ask that you lock those groom appointments in now, so nobody is disappointed this season!!

Please let your groomer know AT DROP OFF if you would like them to get a photo with the holiday headbands, please make sure to request with a headband, some groomers don't use them and you'll get a regular groom pic instead. Also, make sure to let them know if you'd like a seasonal bandana at the same time.

Also, I will be making regular reminders to book grooms and I'll post when we close our books for the year as well.

Look at this face?! groomers.diary had the absolute joy of meeting little Arlo this afternoon. His dad has spent SO much time training him at home with all the grooming essentials. He didn't have a single tangle on him! He doesn't love being told what to do, he's smart as a whip and definitely thinks he knows better, but he only had a few little tantrums, Ceslie was patienr though and let him get his fussing out of the way. As soon as he learned that kicking up wasn't going to win, he was a perfect little gentleman, happier than ever to watch the other dogs come and go and listen to the general hubbub of the shop!

We met little Miss Coco for the first time as well. She recently found her forever human and was a little afraid of the salon and a whole lot afraid to be away from the human she spent so many years trying to find! But we made sure to get her done as quickly as possible so we could call her new grandma for pick up.
With some gentle words and gentle hands she was able to find a little comfort and trust in us. It can take a few visits for older rescues to build trust with the salon, some never reqlly learn to find comfort, sometimes we need to find a time of day and a routine that creates as little stress as possible, but when the family is able to work with us we're almost always able to find a good fit for the little one.
Miss Coco will be a pro in no time, we're so grateful for have her join the ROA team!!

Little Nyx had her first visit to the salon today! So many babies this week, how frikken lucky are we?!
She's a tall babe and won't be so little when she's in next, but thankfully her family brought her in young, so she will be a breeze to handle when she's big!!
We can't wait to see her grow.

Simon popped by to meet .groomers.diary today! He is a pomski (pomeranian/husky cross) so he will be FULL of sass! His family know dogs well, all shapes and sizes, so they knew Simon absolutely needed to visit Ceslie and the salon as soon as he has all his vaccines. We always say to start your little ones as soon as it's safe, allowing them to build that trust with their hairdresser means they'll always be salon confident!
