If you travel to the U.S. with your pets, there will be new changes starting August 1st!

Starting on August 1, all dogs entering the U.S. (including those that left the U.S. and are returning, and regardless of the country they are coming from) must be:
• healthy upon arrival
• at least 6 months of age
• microchipped
• accompanied by a CDC Dog Import Form receipt and required vaccination and veterinary documents.

Additional requirements may apply depending on where the dog has been in the last 6 months and whether or not the dog was vaccinated in the United States.

The clinic will be closed Monday, February 19th for Family Day. If you have an emergency, please contact the 24HR Animal Care Centre at 306-761-1449 or the Small Animal Clinic in Saskatoon at 1-306-966-7126.

Dr. Paul will also be out of clinic Feb 20th-23rd, we will not be taking appointments or surgeries during that time. We will still be open regular hours for any food and prescription pickups. Dr. Paul will be back in clinic Monday, February 26th.

Dr. Paul will be out of clinic from today Nov 21st at 4pm until Sunday, Nov 26th. He will be back his regular hours on Monday, Nov 27th. We won't be taking any surgeries or appointments during that time, but the clinic will still be open for food sales and prescription pick ups. Dear valued clients, over the past several months our clinic has been facing some significant overnight veterinary staffing shortages that have regrettably led us to, at times, modify our hours of operation. We understand the stress and inconvenience this has caused pet owners.

To better serve the pets and owners of Regina and area, 24 Hour Animal Care Center has partnered with community veterinary hospitals to be able to provide on-call emergent care services for patients deemed critical during the overnight hours.

This collaborative effort is something we are proud to be a part of and will take effect October 1st, 2023, during the hours of 8p-8a. We are very thankful for the support that the veterinary community has shared. Please continue to contact ourselves at 306-761-1449 for veterinary assistance day or night. During the overnight hours, all calls will be triaged by a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT). If deemed critical, arrangements will then be made to have your pet seen at the community hospital that is on call for that evening.

24 Hr Animal Care Centre will remain open to the public seven days a week from 8a-8p, including Statutory holidays.

Thank you for your patience and understanding as we navigate the current veterinary shortage to the best of our abilities. We hope these measures will be temporary in nature and look forward to serving our community for many years to come.
