We have two beautiful mamas going up for adoption tomorrow evening!! Both are great with cats!

Patches is the mom of our Wicked Litter!!! 🧙

Patches was a stray who had her puppies in someone’s shed. She has come a long way since coming into care. Learning how to be a dog and what love is like! She loves to cuddle and is ready to put her head on your shoulders! 🩷

She is fully house and kennel trained! Fostered with another dog, cat, and little human and does just fine!

Our other beautiful lady is Jiggs! She is the mama of Jillian Jiggs litter! 🐶

She is another amazing girl who is house and kennel trained! She loves to play with other dogs and is ready to give you snuggles! Her litter foster had cats and there was no issues! There was also horses, she was cautious and just wants to be friends!!

We hope these two ladies get scooped up fast!!

Personality: Newt has the most fun loving goofy personality. Once he becomes comfortable with you he will be your best friend and your little shadow. Newt does great with other dogs and loves playing with his sister Sora. Newt loves to be cuddled up with his human any chance he can get. He does great with kids. Kennel Training: Sora has no issues with the crate
House Training: Sora has no accidents at home when in a new surrounding she will have accident till she learns where she needs to go
Personality: Sora is such a fun and loving girl. She loves playing with her foster brothers and her own brother. She loves going for walks and being adventurous at times. She is good with kids and cats. Sora has come a long way to come out of her shell when she first came into care and she loves showing love and loves giving kisses. If you’re looking for the most fun loving and loyal dog Sora is your girl

Medical Care: Vaccinated, dewormed, spayed

Medical Note: Had quills previously, occasionally these can continue to move for months. At this time she has none present.
Additionally she has a deformed chest, vets believe this is from a previous injury. No issues at this time! She has a sore on her nose, it heals but then it opens up when she plays! She has been checked out and the vet just said it needs time to heal!

We are shocked that Jane has not found her forever home!

This sweet girl is the last of her litter! 😭😳.

We think she deserves to be adopted as fast as her siblings! She is approaching 2.5 months of age and is a shepherd/lab mix!

She has been doing awesome with her kennel training and is kennelled while the foster is gone and at night! She is making strides with her house training and with a little help from the foster, she is going outside pretty consistently! She is a very smart girl!

She loves snuggles but gets a little warm and then prefers her space.🩷

She is independent but does love having a good play with other dogs.

Glinda is still searching for her forever home! 🩷

We can’t believe she hasn’t been scooped up! We have an update below of how much she has improved in her training!

Glinda is truly living up to her good witch status. This gal loves everyone and everything (people, dogs, cats, toys, and snow included) and is always ready to show her affection and excitement. She is playful, curious, confident, and energetic. But she also knows when to relax and enjoys a good snuggle. This beautiful gal and her stunning heterochromia eyes are waiting to cast spells of love on her future forever family.

Glinda has been easy to house train as she loves treats and praise. Although accidents do still happen inside, she goes outside with ease each time. With a bit more time, positive reinforcement, and consistency she will be fully trained in no time.

Glinda gets better in her kennel everyday. She sleeps in her kennel throughout the night (sometimes with a potty break) and for small stints throughout the day. She cries at times, but ultimately likes her kennel. She even puts herself to sleep in the kennel on occasion.

He is happy to play with everyone and anything. He loves human attention but also content to play with other dogs! He is extremely friendly!

Boq is still searching for his forever home! 🩵

Boq is almost three months old and is a husky/collie/lab mix!

This guy has been doing awesome with his kennel training and house training! He goes in his designated spot in the backyard and will use a p*e pad if you miss getting him outside!

He is fostered with another cat who is older, Boq would love to play with them but they are not interested haha. 😂

He is not a shy guy and happy to get your attention and to play. He loves being under your feet.🫠

So y’all are telling me that no one wasn’t Blackberry Billy?!?!

This cutie was born November 11 and is a shepherd lab mix. 🥰

Besides pointing out the obvious which is that he is extremely handsome…. This boy is doing so well with his training!

He is sleeping in his kennel at night and will cry when he needs to go outside. He is learning fast about house training and will use a p*e pad. He still needs to learn how to let you know but if you are on top of him, he will go outside.

Billy is fostered with other dogs and loves to play but he is also very affectionate and happy to get attention from you. He prefers when you are close by so he can get alllll the affection. 🩵

We are doing another double feature today!

We want to be able to show you guys one older dog and a puppy that is up for adoption!

We want to re-introduce you to Newt!

This dude came into care with his siblings and mother who were literally starving to death. They also had quills. 🫠

Newt was more shy but was able to pick up on kenneling training super easily and is house trained. He sometimes has an accident if he gets scared. He has come such a long way since that the first day and is now happy to come for some pets once he is comfortable. Newt isn’t that big in person! He is a shepherd mix, over a year old, around 50-60 pounds. They were so small when they came in, we thought they were four months old… not a year!! Please give this sweet boy a chance!

Oh Glinda! How are you still available?!

This sweet girl was just posted for adoption and we can’t believe she has received no interest!

She is a husky/collie/lab mix and nine weeks old.
She is in her kennel during the night with a couple breaks in between. She is working in house training but isn’t really liking the cold! Don’t blame her at all! 😂😂

She is a sassy girl who is ready to give you some kisses. Fostered with her sister and other dogs, she is happy to play or get some cuddles from!!

Welcome to our double feature!!

First, we would like to reintroduce everyone to Rex!

Rex is a husky mix just over a year old. He came into care after presenting with an injured paw. At the vet, nothing was discovered and he just needed some rest!

Rex is an active boy! When he is too active he sometimes presents with a limp but then is fine!

He is tolerant of his kennel and does get kennelled when no one is home. He is fully house trained!

Rex’s two favourite things in life are cuddling and playing/being outside (especially in the snow!) He is perfectly content doing either! He was quick to settle into his foster home and instantly became part of the pack - He is fostered with a medium size female dog who he plays/ gets along with really well and does good with other dogs we meet. He’s got an awesome, goofy personality and an easy going temperament. Does not do good with cats!

The second part of our feature is sweet Pegasus!!
This shepherd/collie mix was born at the end of October!

He has been working hard on his house and kennel training and seems to be a fast learner!

Pegasus loves toys of all kinds. He will lay and chew a bone or sleep at our feet. He also loves to play outside and loves treats!
He has learned how to go up stairs but we are still working on going down. He also does well in the car.

Nacho
(Appy Platter)

Gender: Female
DOB: September 27, 2024
Breed: Staffy Mix
Kennel Training: Sleeps all night in her kennel!
House Training: Fully house trained!
Personality: She has a ton of love to give to both humans and other dogs.
Nacho absolutely loves to have another dog to play and cuddle with. She really enjoys her toys and is happy to play with others or by herself. Human affection is one of her favorites. She loves to lay on your legs while you watch a show or snuggle up next to you.
Nacho thinks being outside is awesome and spends tons of time roaming the yard and playing with her 2 foster sisters out there.
Nacho is fostered in a home with a daycare and loves all the attention she receives from the littles.
Medical Care: Round One vaccine and two rounds of dewormer
Adoption Fee: $350.00 at the time of adoption; $100.00 can be returned or donated once fixed according to contract standards

Medical Note: Nacho has been tentatively diagnosed with a heart murmur and Mitral valve dysplasia (MVD). This is a rare congenital malformation of the mitral valve within the heart.

MVD is a genetic disorder and therefore it is pertinent that Nacho never be bred. While Nacho shows no clinical signs of heart disease at this time, her heart should be monitored with regular veterinary care as although the prognosis for patients with MVD is generally good, heart failure is a potential complication for some patients. Special attention should also be taken for Nacho any time she is sedate or anesthetized as some medications should be avoided.
This litter predominantly all have hernias. Vet had recommend them being tended to when they are spayed/neutered

HELLO everyone! We are once again seeking help to fly some puppies to Vancouver!

If anyone is flying DIRECT from Regina (YQR) to Vancouver (YVR) on WESTJET please send us a message so I can reach out! These are the dates we are seeking help for:

—> January 26, 27, 28,29

*flights MUST be direct and Vancouver has to be your final destination.

*we need at least two different flights for the number of pups we plan to send

***THERE IS NO COST TO YOU! Your only responsibility is to meet us at the airport 90 minutes prior to departure and let me check their kennels in with you. All booking, organizing, and payment is handled through the rescue!

2025 is coming at us with some intense medical cases, some huge challenges, a ton of calls for help, and already many lives saved. Please read and share this post about our two current (incredibly expensive) medical cases;

First up the sweet little man with TWO casts on his photos - Conner. Conner joined us January 9th after an urgent message came in about an injured puppy in a rural community. It was immediately clear to Christa that he needed our help. He was taken to South Saskatchewan Animal Hospital and after some X-rays and examining we learned that he had breaks/fractures in both hind legs and one hip was dislocated. Given how long he was without medical care his thigh bone fracture (existing) was sort of healed. The vet team was able to get his hip back in place, but he needs surgery (pins and a plate) on BOTH hind legs. 🤕 Surgery day is T O D A Y (xray photos included to show severity of breaks of his FEMURS). 🫣

Next up is our smallest (maybe ever) rescue guy Reggie. He also arrived after an urgent call about a small dog outside with a bad leg injury. This tiny guy wandered to a house and the homeowner worked tirelessly to find his owners with no luck. He clearly needed medical help and they called us. The injury to his hind leg is so severe it cannot be repaired. He will have a leg amputation likely this week. He is also so malnourished every bone could be seen when we got him in the tub. He’s got a long road ahead to feel better 😔

So this year we are starting strong as a rescue, but our financials are not presently keeping up. If you can donate ANY AMOUNT it would be greatly appreciated as we send our boys in for surgery (while continuing spay/neuter and returns, regular exams, & all the vaccines/dewormer etc.)
