Just arrived in store this week!
This is the cleaner we use at our facility. It has a very mild pleasant odour and is super safe for people and dogs!

What the heck is ez-clean?
✨Ez-Clean is bacteria. Not the nasty bacteria that makes you sick, but the good bacteria that eats gross and gooey things.
✨Think of ez-clean as the workers that you spray into the trenches to do all the nasty work so you don't have to worry.

Your dog does not - I repeat DOES NOT need to meet strange dogs out in public. This is a classic case of humans thinking they are doing right by their dogs, but in fact it could have ended in disaster! These dogs communicated very clear signals but the owners missed them all.
You are better off to socialize with dogs you know...whose owners you know, not random dogs on the street.

Watch this video and learn their body language - they are communicating very clearly. Would you have caught all the signals they gave? Do you know what to look for?

Don't even get me started on the leash coming off!!?? 🤦‍♀️This is why I am a stickler for the safety coupler on all dogs at all times!

The sad reality of rescues right now, they are over crowded, no fosters and no money! If you can help by donating money or time or your home to foster, you would be helping them a great deal!
CCRezQ is amazing, and we have trained so many pups from them and my personal dog Kahu is from CCRezQ. They do great things - it would be a shame to see them stop operations because they didn't have the help they need!

Another Basic Obedience Graduation is in the books!
This group of adorable doggo's graduated on Wednesday.

Our obedience class requires a lot of time and dedication from dog owners to get their dogs to pass our test and they get so nervous about the testing out, but they always do amazing! 👏

I am so proud of this group of dogs and owners!!!!
You guys did so fantastic! I hope you are all as proud of yourselves as I am of you! 🥰

When they eat the spicy fly! 🐝

We had our first wasp bite today!
I heard Cooper make a very weird moan groan growl and saw him licking his lips. I ran over and saw the wasp crawling away…

What do you do when your dog gets stung?
Benadryl!!!!!!!!
I always have some on hand - and I mark my human/dog safe medication with K9 on it so I know they can have it.

How much do you give?

According to the Merck Veterinary Manual, the safe dosage is 2-4 milligrams of medication per kilogram of weight, or 0.9 to 1.8 milligrams per pound.

I gave Cooper 2x25mg to start.
It will make him sleepy so he’s off to his crate.
I keep checking his lip, it’s a little swollen and hard but I got the Benadryl in within minutes so he should be fine.
I also did the Bodytalk FastAid technique. 😀
He is acting totally normal. Not phased at all.

But hopefully this will be a lesson learned! 🙏🏼🐾😂
