We are excited to announce that our Annual General Meeting is set for Sunday March 23, 2025 @ 1 pm. We will be holding our AGM virtually again this year on our public FB page. The event will include the usual business meeting and introduction of the executive committee members. This AGM is for last year 2024!

Reflecting on 2024 at CARE Animal Rescue! It was a fantastic year for the rescue, and it was all because of devoted supporters, volunteers, and fosters.

The rescue helped a total of 105 cats/kittens last year, 50 of those cats were in our TNR program and the remainder were in foster care and adopted to good families. This is an accomplishment to be enormously proud of and we will continue our work within the community in 2025.

CARE wants to give a shout-out to CARE volunteers, Carol Higginson, JoAnn Bond, and Jennifer Higginson for their outstanding contribution to the rescue.

They sold their crafts at Jenn’s Hair Studio in Arnprior and raised a whopping $590.00 at their Christmas Gift Shop. They had a large variety of knit items and much more for people of all ages.

The staff at Ricks Pet Stores are amazing, they take excellent care of our cats/kittens and are instrumental in finding them a forever home. We can not thank them enough for their support all year and fundraising events for the rescue!

We are so happy that Ash has found his forever home just in time for Christmas! Another happy ending! 😸
