I wish I didn't have to post this but in order to keep my price list as low as it is I need people to actually show up for their appointments or give me a 24 hour notice for cancellation. I don't plan on implementing a cancellation or no-show fee; instead I will no longer book appointments for repeat offenders. I am a new business owner with three children; this means I need a babysitter and am still trying to cover the cost of overhead which makes it extremely inconsiderate and disrespectful of those who leave gaps in my calendar.

To the other 98% of my customers, thank you for being you! I appreciate you, your pets, your business, your loyalty and your respect for my business. You are the reason I want to keep affordable prices because you deserve it!

I apologize everyone! My appointment with my nurse didn't go as planned this morning and I was immediately sent to the hospital. Christine is in the shop and I am trying to get there as soon as possible but I may have to reschedule some appointments depending on how long until I'm released.

This is heartbreaking but I want to warn everyone out there that there is a new disgusting challenge in our local schools to see how many animals kids can hurt. Please watch your pets closely, keep an eye on your teens and report any foul play to the police. I personally know of two instances where this has happened so it is not just a repulsive rumor. Snapchat is one of the forms being used to share videos of these actions. Please spread the word so everyone can keep their pets safe.

Check us out around the 5:30 mark! Thank you to everyone who helped with the float and joined us in the parade. I'm so sorry we didn't have enough people to hand out candy and missed so many kids but I think we managed to get treats to all the dogs. It seemed like a fun idea but I never realized how much work goes into a float but we're already learning and planning for next year. 🥰

Thank you Enterprise Renfrew County !

It was not an easy program to complete; especially while running a new business and raising three kids but I pushed through. There's so much work to go into it but so much knowledge taken from it. Congratulations to my classmates!

The grant I received was approved to spend on a new wash tub, a new grooming table and a high-end air purifier

I can't wait for the old tubs to come out and be able to offer more convenient and safe grooming equipment for my furry clients! ❤️

Announcement:

The Santa Claus parade is this Saturday! If you are bringing your children and/or pets to join us please meet us at the Armouries at 5:30p.m. I will have dog ears, noses and tails and some little wizard hats for those who would like to dress up with us. Every dog walking with us gets a Christmas bandana to wear and keep. Any child that joins and is dressed up as a dog gets entered in a draw to win one of many prizes!

I just want to thank everyone who has decided to support my business and making sure I can pay bills while I'm off recovering from surgery by shopping my Black Friday sales. It literally means the world to me! Christine Van Delen is so kind as to arrange meet ups at the shop to get your items until I am able to drive again and my van gets out of the garage hopefully in time for the Santa Claus parade!

I have new and exciting things coming to the shop when I return to help me take even better care of your pups and help my body ease back into the craziness of grooming. I'll have my assistants in to get me through the Christmas rush as well. It's only been a week but it feels like a lifetime and I miss all those furry faces.
