Chinchillas are small social rodents known for their soft, plush fur as well as their quiet and shy demeanor. They are agile and athletic with the ability to climb well and jump up to six feet. They often sit upright to sunbathe, groom, and to eat with their front paws. Chinchillas can make great family pets due to their small size and are comparable to a small cat or rabbit. They are naturally clean and odorless.

We are so excited to be hosting adoptable pups from Pawsitive Steps Dog Rescue again at our Petawawa location Sunday September 15th for our Summer Send Off event! We are going to have some awesome Vendors. The Wurst Hotdogs will be here serving up hot dogs. Mr Chris and friends will be here too! there will be a fall photo op, and lots of other fun activities! Here a just a few of the adoptable puppers available from Pawsitive Steps.

First up, we have Callie (F), a playful and affectionate mix who loves outdoor adventures and belly rubs. Next is Tuff (M), a curious and clever boy who loves to snuffle and snuggle. For those looking for a smaller companion, meet Trigger (M), a charming little shepherd mix with a penchant for splashing in his kiddie pool. Finally, there's Maya (F), a lively (but a little anxious) Doodle mix who will be very doting on their new human. Each of these wonderful pets brings their own unique joy and companionship, ready to become someone's new best friend. Could one of them be the perfect addition to your family?
