Walking a clients dog. We are in the trees. come around a corner to find this. I'm dying....
Go Canada
A little self endorsement!
I am an in-home pet sitter you can always rely on, no matter what!
So I hopped the bus this morning!
While my car decided last night, it needed a flatbed tow to the car doctor (mechanic) it was not wanting to accelerate without feeling odd and stunk of burning plastic. I had Alex and Jasper walk towards home (6km walk aprox while I went with caa and was lucky to get dropped at home. I got my e scooter and tied my backpack to a collapsible wagon in case Jasper was tired out. Which he was. I provided entertainment for those driving by me, towing the wagon..I didn't have many photos but ill post in the comments!
I hope everyone has a Pawsitive day!

#Jasperapproved!
Hear at positive principles we take great pride in small batch hand-cut dog treats! We have been on a little Hiatus due to some construction and we are almost ready to turn the machines back on.
Thank you to all of our clients who purchase from our small business and have been so patient in waiting for their orders. I appreciate each and everyone of you!!!
Have yourselves a Wonderful Pawsitive Day!
Another request to see:
Here is Jasper having a bully stick with his collar on.
No he doesn't eat that huge thing in 1 go.
Watch closely. I am sitting down with treats. I tell him he can have some in exchange for bully stick. I made it fun and gave the cat one. Watch Jaspers eyes as he considers the deal. Mind you it's been 20 25 mins of chew time. He comes over and tries to get treats with no exchange. I remind him and he brings it over. Yay lots of treats
One of our cats passed away last week so we have been very relaxed and bending rules but it is important to keep some and always do what you say. If in the moment Jasper had gotten treats without the bully treat exchange the rules would have been too relaxed and that would be a gateway to him pushing the limits.
Remember to have a Pawsitive experience with your pup!
Here is a quick shot at Jasper with his collar, chewing away happily.
Make everything fun. Do it regularly and voila you have a happy pupper!
Put the work in early, give rules and structure then learn to bend them but most importantly have fun together as you teach commands.
Just had someone ask me how Jasper deals with his inflatable collar....when I said he loves it this is what I mean.
We just came in from a walk and I had put it on then got the question and then made a lil video to show.
Commands should be worked on ASAP. For example all of these commands were taught before the age of 2, maintenance is required for example I may ask him to put his "nose in the hole" using my hands to make one or use the inflatable collar randomly and leave it on so it dowsnt seem like punishment. Commands used, listed below.
Come
Sit
Wait (super important)
take off collar
Ok, pull (pulls head through)
Good boy or good job
Back up
Put your nose in the hole (this is a very useful command)
Wait, I have to clip it
Ok, done
Please excuse my PJ day lol
Any question let me know
Have a Pawsitive Day!!!

A few days ago we started our summer "find it" games outside.
We start first with find the Human. This time it was my turn to scent the area for Jasper to find me. I start with making sure to rub my scent as I go, after a few 'find its' I stop scenting myself and just walk and hide. After that we move to different toys where he smells it in the bathroom (always where we start because in cold weather we do this inside). I take the toy outside and place somewhere hidden where no one will take it on me then come back upstairs and tell him to find it. He has to take me to the elevator or stairs that I used all the way to the toy!
We will video the toy version shortly
Find it is a game that is solely on it's own separate from a potty walk, a sniff walk or a human gotta get somewhere walk beside them walk (or avoid something). It is fun for us humans and helps exercise their brains!!!
