Happy 2nd Birthday, Raisin! Today we're celebrating one very special boy!

When Raisin was born, he was the runt of the litter, and there were moments when no one knew if he would make it. Thanks to dedicated medical care, unwavering determination, and an abundance of love, Raisin not only survived, he’s thriving!

Now 2 years old, Raisin is a beloved member of our Welcoming Team, greeting all those he meets with his charm, curiosity, and signature personality.

Raisin lives with a chronic condition called Protein-Losing Enteropathy (PLE), which affects his body's ability to absorb nutrients. While his journey hasn't always been easy, he faces every challenge with courage, resilience, and a spirit that inspires everyone who meets him.

His story is a beautiful reminder that with the right care, a dedicated medical team, and plenty of love, even the smallest patients can accomplish amazing things.

This Spring our rescue team may very well see over 150 new intakes of vulnerable babies, their mamas, pregnant mamas and other cats surviving outdoors.

As the rescues continue, we’re providing:

● Emergency veterinary care
● Medications and diagnostics
● Foster supplies and support
● Ongoing treatment for infections and injuries

These situations escalate quickly and so do the costs.

⚾🐾 A huge thank you to the Vancouver Canadians for helping us hit a home run for animals!

We had an unforgettable time at Dog Days of Summer and were incredibly honoured to throw out the ceremonial first pitch. It was truly a bucket-list moment and one our team will never forget.

There’s nothing quite like a summer evening at the ballpark enjoying a famous yard dog, eating ice cream from a helmet, cheering on your favourite piece of Sushi, and singing "Take Me Out to the Ball Game" alongside thousands of fans!

Thank you to the Vancouver Canadians for your support of animals and for creating such a fun, family-friendly experience. We’re already looking forward to the next dog friendly game!

We are more than an Animal Hospital. We are proud to operate community programs such as an animal rescue, and right now our rescue team is tending to multiple sites throughout the Lower Mainland to save an estimated 150 endangered cats, kittens, and pregnant moms.

We are currently caring for:
• Tiny kittens battling serious illnesses and infections
• Fragile newborns who require bottle feeding
• Nursing mothers and pregnant cats who need round the clock support
• Rescue cats requiring medical treatment, vaccinations, and nutrition

As kitten season continues, the need for support grows every day. If you would like to help us continue providing lifesaving care, donations to our care fund make a direct impact on these precious felines.
