Finally! Babies are here. 13 heathy active babies and 8 slugs, no stills. Mamma is cranky, as usual, but looks much more comfortable now. 🙂 So this litter is Hera x Ernie.
Hera is normal(strange fading pattern)het nuclear albino and Ernie is my normal nuclear male. So the litter is normal possible het albino.

So this is the sand boa I had posted about before. She was born out of a female with unknown parentage and was paired with my nuclear albino male. In 2017, that female had a litter of 26, normals and albinos. I sold the litter and kept back one nicely patterned high red female. That is her in the first picture.....then her progression of change aft the next few years.........

Holy Hera! Can you get any fatter? Please have your babies already!!?
This is an interesting case, this big girl is a normal.....not an anery. She was born here out of a big normal het albino female and out of my nuclear albino male, Blaze. I kept her back in the program because she was so bright red as a baby. Over time, as she matured, her red back pattern changed to grey, a few scales at a time. Will be interesting to see if any of her offspring do the same........even her eyes are grey......not the typical yellow.

Christmas has come early at C&S Sand Boas! 14 beautiful babies born, unfortunately one is kinked, but the other 13 are AMAZING! X factor paint litter. 😃 So excited!
