Our Mission Statement

This place will be a safe place for those dogs in transition. One of the things I've learned over the years dealing with people, and pets, in rescue is it is often hard to find that temporary space until they are adopted. Sometimes they come from kill shelters, sometimes just staying too long in a shelter. Here the dogs can have lots of love, fun, exercise and be mildly assessed in terms of food aggression, good with other dogs etc. I live in the country, have plenty of space for half a dozen dogs and more if this grows. This is not a permanent space, however they will never be kicked out. If they can’t find a forever home they will at least live their days out here enjoying a freedom and foster family they simply can’t get with a shelter. Most dogs find a home eventually, our place is to give them the love and shelter they need until that happens.
