Let’s talk feet!! Having hairy feet can cause several issues including getting matted which makes it uncomfortable to walk, and slipping on floors, etc. It can also hide things like redness, small bumps and cysts which would otherwise go unnoticed. I take pride in making sure I get all the hair out of your pups paws so they are more comfortable! So you may be sitting there thinking “but Tracy, my dogs feet don’t look quite so hair free when they come home!”, well not every dog will allow me to do such a good job, sometimes I do what I can to get it done and not upset your pampered pooch too much ❤️ Most dogs let me do it, and it’s so satisfying getting the feet looking so nice and hair free!

So, I have been asked before why it costs as much to groom a deshed as it does to do a full groom on a dog that needs trimming (not by this dogs owner, just been asked in general). Apart from the large amount of shampoo and conditioner used, and the power to run the blower for well over an hour, and the 4 towels I used which need washing…the clean up!! It takes about 30 minutes to get the hair cleaned up after a big deshed! I sweep, sweep some more, blow the hair off EVERYTHING, sweep again, vacuum, and if I’m lucky I won’t find random tumbleweeds blowing around the room for the next three days 😂 it is SOOO satisfying watching all that hair come off though 😃❤️🤩

Fun day here at Fine & Dandy! First Sniper the labradoodle was in this morning, then Captain the shih tzu x bichon was here this afternoon! Both handsome lads! ❤️😍 And miss Mazikeen the pitbull was here for a nail trim and she’s too cute not to take a picture of, so there she is! Happy Monday everyone!
