Yesterdays doggos! Pete the havanese and Max the shih tzu were both in for their “winter cuts”! Many people keep the hair slightly longer in the winter to prevent their little one getting cold, make sure to keep up with brushing though, otherwise a cute little sweater can also work 😉❤️

Oh my goodness, today I got to groom not one but TWO adorable puppies! First the adorable Joey (maltipoo) was in for his first haircut, then, Bailey the yorkie was here and he brought his new little brother, Simba, for HIS first haircut! Both the little pups got shaved as their owners are learning what tools they need and how to maintain tiny little puppy coats! Matting can happen so easily and it’s nicer to just shave and start fresh than try to detangle the little guys ❤️❤️ They both did excellent for their first time and hopefully I sent them home happy and ready for next time 🥰 I love my job 😊

Well that’s a wrap!! Oakley the Bernedoodle and his sister Amelia the wheaten terrier were both here today for their Christmas makeovers…so cute!! It’s now officially Christmas!! I will be off until the 29th staying indoors and relaxing! I want to wish all my clients the merriest of holidays and as always, I thank you all from the bottom of my heart for being so wonderful! So, I have been asked before why it costs as much to groom a deshed as it does to do a full groom on a dog that needs trimming (not by this dogs owner, just been asked in general). Apart from the large amount of shampoo and conditioner used, and the power to run the blower for well over an hour, and the 4 towels I used which need washing…the clean up!! It takes about 30 minutes to get the hair cleaned up after a big deshed! I sweep, sweep some more, blow the hair off EVERYTHING, sweep again, vacuum, and if I’m lucky I won’t find random tumbleweeds blowing around the room for the next three days 😂 it is SOOO satisfying watching all that hair come off though 😃❤️🤩
