We are going to reopen our grooming now that we have settled in New Brunswick. Coming up on two years this July!

We had so many great reviews from past clients and likes on our page. We are hoping you can help us out by rebuilding that!

Great transformations happen here and as a groomer this is so rewarding. Just knowing a pup will feel so much better with their new style.

Check out a couple of before and after photos of two sweet pups who had a bad experience with their previous groomer. By the end of their groom they were giving puppy kisses and were so much calmer. The more the come, the better they’ll be.

Sweet Maggie was in for a refreshing bath and trim today.

Good morning Whisker Worx family. We have news to share.

Bad news...

We are extremely sad to have to make an announcement today, that effective June 14 2020, we will be closing shop permanently in Mitchell, Ontario....but not due to Covid.

Our family has been presented with an opportunity that we cannot pass up and we are heading out east to the Maritimes this summer.

We are honouring any appointments that we have booked until the end of June. We unfortunately will not be scheduling any brand new customers for grooming as of today (May 23).

We know that some may be shocked, disappointed, saddened or even be upset with our decision ...and may decide that they want to look for another groomer. We invite you to do so, and completely understand. We would kindly ask that you cancel your appointment if you're not going to keep it. No hard feelings.

Good news....

Mitchell has another groomer, who also has a kind heart and the same passion for giving pets and their owners the best experience possible. We have been in touch with the owner and she is aware of our decision. Raine of Let The Fur Fly Grooming welcomes Whisker Worx customers and can be reached at (226) 268-1926.

To reduce screen time I have decided to learn a new craft. One that’s not expensive but something that’s rewarding.

I started over and over ...and finally I’m on a roll. Just learned in 2 evenings!

The Ontario Dog Groomers Association has now said groomers aren’t essential in Ontario so appointments are on hold and may need to be postponed.

No one seems to agree on the subject so we will be double checking with the government today to verify if grooming — is grooming classified as a “service provider for the health and welfare of animals.” We interpreted that as a yes but it’s very broad and a few customers asked us to be sure. If they say yes then we will be open, if not appointments will be rescheduled. We don’t want to risk a big fine.

Thanks for your patience and understanding. We will update customers as we receive new info. Temporarily appointments scheduled this week are on hold.

Please be sure to brush you pup regularly, so when we are allowed to be open again, it will be easier on them.

If nails are getting long, take your dog outside and walk up and down your driveway or play with them in your yard to keep them from growing super long.
